I was thinking of maybe 10% reduction in the Jump Clone Availability timer per level? At level 5, it cuts the timer in half. Perhaps you make it a 6x skill so it takes a while to train?
The only way I really see this benefiting anyone is if they have a PvP clone and a PvE clone, or if they have a shield tank clone and an armor tank clone. It wouldn't really make the game too easy, but at the same time, it would allow us to go from doing armor incursion fleets to shield, or it would allow us to PvP for a bit and make some ISK ratting within 12 hours instead of 24.
Just a thought. I explained why it's beneficial, and I also explained why it's not making the game too easy. Thoughts? |

Add to that 20% time reduction per level for clones on the same station as character. So @ lvl 5 you can change jump into clone on same station without any delays. If you think its too OP, then change it to "additional 10% for jump clones on same station as character" so it'll be 6 hours instead of 12 @ lvl 5. |

I really dislike the idea of adding a skill to make this time short, while not at all against of reducing the timer.

Oh I see what you mean. That would be nice too, but at the same time, a skill just makes a bit more sense with the way Eve works. I'm fine with either of the ideas though - whatever reduces that timer :). |

I like this idea.
A small tweak may be to have the timer tied to light-year distance (1 hour per lightyear, max 24 hours, with a 1 hour minimum).
Then throw the skill in there, 10% reduction in jump-clone re-calibration per level. Then you could jump-clone every 30 minutes if you're in the same station with "Infomorph Recalibration V" or whatever you want to call it.
EDIT: While you're at it, it would be nice to jump without having to stop the skill-queue and restart it after the jump. That's just tedious. |
