unfortunetly no. Somehow CCP forgot that this is MMO game and forget to implement it on PI We are Minmatar, Our ship are made of scraps, but look what our scraps can do... |

Once I've turned my minerals over to the Corp, that's fine, as long as I was paid for the mining or whatever.

Well, dont put it in corp hangars then, duh ;)
But it would be nice to have a corp hangar in customs offices. Problem is it would be a bit abused if its sufficient size to any kind of corp activity or if not it would be uselessly small for any kind of corp activity. For some reason the game design is for PI to be personal only. I do not know why that decision was made, but it is what it is. I am not aware of any plans to "corpitize" PI.
I would be very happy if they did however. |

Well, we were promised a civ game on planets and all we got was some dots and lines without any kind of interaction on planets between players. Well other than somekind of minor resource depletion if more than one player does it in the same spot - I think. Have not tried to test to see if that resource depletion is there in reality.
The PI was supposed to be somehow tied to the DUST, but instead CCP opted to tie it to the sov / FW down the road. So PI is under the same carpet probably as the POS'es - not particularly high in the devs priority list.

CCP originally planned to include corp hangars, but then someone realised that this made too much sense, and so the idea was dumped. |

I wish PI could be done for corps, at least the access to the POCO... It would be so useful for us wormhole inhabitants !!!
And if we could interconnect the networks of several characters, then we could start talking business !!! |

Ability to interconnect networks would make way too much sense ;) Consider the bashphemy of having one char just with silos doing all the hauling which feed into other player factory setup on the same planet.
I'd imagine that pretty soon there would be some planets near Jita with one guy visiting poco in freighter and other 20 chars/alts cooking all kind of unnatural things down there. Would probably crash the prices a little bit.

That could lead to a reason to have DUST bunnies deal with PI, too. Someone connected to your network and is siphoning off your links, for example, or is raiding your launchpad/silo complex to steal everything. |

Anyway some improvements on the depth of PI gameply would just be great. I like it but at the moment it's pretty limited. Setting i up is fun, but then running them is tedious and could almost be done by a bot since it's pretty mechanical (placing the extractors head would be tricky for a bot, but not impossible I think). |

The limitations would be relatively easy to implement by introducing some kind of new structure for connecting to other players networks. You could then tune the limitations easily by fine tuning the power and cpu requiments of the said structure. For all practical purposes it could look for the system just like another silo, i.e., you route your stuff there and it would be another players business to route it from there where-ever he needs it, same way vice versa, i.e., if something is supposed to return to you another player has to route it there and then its your business to route it from there onwards where-ever you need or want it.
Now I'm not sure how the PI system is exactly implemented, but it should be relatively simple to implement, all you would need to do is to make the silo become visible on planet for the other pilot(s) as well whos on the same planet. If you want to be particularly celever you can even make it so, that players can set prices for their stuff on-planet, for, lets say, selling tier 1 materials for whoever is willing to pay for them by linking to that silo on planet.
It would probably be simpler to keep it strictly bidirectional tho, one silo, you build it, designate another player who has a command center on the planet and that particular silo will be visible only in your and that player networks in that particular spot where you placed it on the planet.
