Hi People,
I have a bit of a problem.
The situation
On my planet I made a basic PI setup. 1cmd. 1lpd. 2ext. 2bif. Everything is linked up and routed.
Routes are:
2ext-->1lpd-->2bif 2bif-->1lpd
Production of de two ext. is well above the 3000 units per cycle. As the routes show they are routed to de production facilities through the launchpad. But for some reason the launchpad is not taking the exces production.
Does anybody have an idea why this is??
update. The production products are also not going into the launchpad :-(

Double check that you have routed the products. The links should show moving dashes. |

Thnx for the respons.
I checked, double checked and triple checked... it seems the launchpad isn't working. Strange because on other planets it does haha.
Other idea's?

remove your routes and remake them and see if that fixes it. |

It sounds like your spaceport is full. I had a situation like this at one of my nullsec planets. Extraction was so high that the storage was full and nothing could be delivered from the factories. So I had to set up the following:
extractor 1 -> silo -> basic factory extractor 2 -> same silo -> other basic factory
each basic factory -> spaceport -> advanced factory advanced factory -> spaceport |

thnx.
When you create a route... you just have to set the destination on the bif?
When it's linked like this ext-->lpd-->bif |

Thnx. Nope the spaceport is empty. 10000me space.
Maby the problem is that when i look at the routing in the extractor the re is a routed product of 3000 units. This one is going to the bif. But the exces product is listed as a seperate item of a lower nuber(1811). This one is not routed. Do i need to route this seperatly?? |

I think i've solved it. You can't route from the extractor directly to the bif. Not even if it's linked through the launchpad. First route to the launchpad. And then to the bif.
My mistake i think

thnx everybody Ah yes, It does not matter if the route goes through the launch pad, the launch pad need to be the destination for goods to be dropped there. So to get materials from the extractor to the BiF requires two separate routes if you want extra mats to be dumped into the launchpad.
You always should route everything to a storage facility, then another route from there to its consumption point.
I take it you had routed mats directly to the BiF which would show a transit through the launchpad when looking at the routes, but would never drop any materials there.
Think of it like a railroad. the track goes through the storage facility, so all trains pass through. But unless you schedule a stop there, to unload, the train will not stop, and no mats are unloaded or left at the storage facility.
I see you have figured this out, but I hope this helps you understand why it works this way. |
