When Titans can blap kill anything non super on the field be it frigate, cruiser, and or pods is this wrong?
When Super Carriers can be dropped on the field and blap kill anything on the field regardless of size is this wrong?
It gets sad when you watch a game you have played since the beginning develop into dropping supers on the field turning into an "I Win Card".
While some of you may think "OH it is only 1 super just kill it" , It is not 1, it is 2 or 3 supers with 1 person boxing all 3. If you hot drop on the 2 or 3 supers in come 20 or 30 more with Titans and carrier Support. They do not even bother putting Sub-Caps on the field anymore because even the titans can kill the smallest bomber. Nothing like being in a bomber and being insta popped by Carriers and supercarriers.
So go ahead and flame away folks because regardless of what you have to say, Currently the "Boys with all the Big Toys" are calling the shots and there is not much anyone wanting to hold SOV can do About it.

So, don't bother will dull sec. Go to low sec, enjoy fw where frigates/dessies/cruisers actually count. |

Easy solution for you, OP: don't fly anything bigger than a BC. Problem solved. I gave up the size race because it was pretty much killing the fun, and I have been much happier since. Dessies, Cruisers, and Battlecruisers, and loving it.

I don't think there is an end game in EVE. Maybe when you stop paying your sub? I look at EVE as a giant dish of spaghetti and meatballs at an all you can eat Italian restaurant. Before you finish one plate they are bringing you another and your wine glass never gets below half full. When you get tired of noodles, there is plenty of breadsticks sitting in the middle of the table. And hell, if you ask they can even switch the meatballs for a sausage link if you like. |

Currently, the most powerful are able to project their will. This is a tautology.
The statement is quite complex, even within the boundaries of EVE. The tactical and strategic application of economic, violent, and diplomatic power is worth considerably more attention than whether or not a Titan can destroy a Shuttle. Even so, the developers took great care in nurturing comparative advantage such that the largest of ships are also the most vulnerable while the smallest of ships are the least dependent. |

How are they the most vulnerable? In my mind it's the reverse - they are unpointable except for special ships, and they have the most HP. |

Go to low sec, join FW or a small pirate corp and learn small gang pvp. Null sec is the boring part of eve.
Even mining is more fun then doing cta's in null sec. Fix this **** See Sea Pea. |

this puzzles me supers deploy fighter bombers which are useless on nething smaller than a bs and titans had a tracking nerf so they 2 dont really hit many ships under BS class and these days cant DD subcaps so i would say titans/supers are not end game... But they should be thats right i said it, for if a person spends so much isk / training time into being able to fly one they should have a couple of god features tbh.
If u dont the way these ships are being used atm in null sec then get urself outa there GÖÑ HIGH FIVES GÖÑ-á |

They can't leave the system without another ship lighting a cyno, they're exceptionally slow to maneuver and align, and their weapons are not effective against small targets. Some time ago, Supercarriers were barred from housing drones smaller than fighters and fighter bombers. Titans and Dreadnoughts lost their ability to field drones at all. Drones would be trivial in an engagement against other capitals and supercapitals yet very effective against smaller subcapitals. This should be understood as larger ships losing their ability to engage smaller ships effectively, if not entirely.
Let's take the Megathron kill we got last week as an example. You, the Caracal orbiting at 500m, were considerably safer than I, the Naga keeping at 7500m, because of basic combat mechanics of turret tracking speed and optimal range. His overall HP eclipsed both yours and mine, yet our damage application to him was, as evidenced by the killmail, greater than his to us.
Another mechanic to examine is the interaction between scan resolution and signature radius. Smaller ships have higher scan res as well as a lower signature radius compared to large ones. Small ships may slip by the attempt by a larger ship to be targeted while a large ship will almost certainly be locked before being able to evade or retaliate. Through this and agility/velocity, pilots in smaller ships may engage and disengage with much higher success than those in larger ships.
An Erebus has no answer to the Velator beyond enlisting the aid of others. This is what I consider what it means to be vulnerable. |

Honestly I think drones should be removed from most ships and only left on the ships that have a bonus for them. Maybe, allow some of the non-drone gallente ships to keep their bays. Like the Mega and the Thorax. Other than that though I say get rid of drones on non-drone ships.
Second, I feel that all BS need their scan res buffed. Even if they only put it up to a minimum of 190, it would be a huge improvement. The fact that top of the line battleships are the slowest and have the worst electronic systems just never made sense to me. And before you use the argument of instalock alpha BS, we already have that in the tier 3 BC. |

you obviously do not seem to understand here are examples
1: http://bca.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=16561625 T3 cruiser tackled and killed by super with carrier suppot.
2: http://bca.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=16525098 T1 cruiser killed by supers and Titans
3: http://bca.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=16525662 T2 cruiser soloed and killed by Super
I can go on in this list folks. Titans can track everything in the game including pods. it is not fixed. Supers can toss out fighters and can kill anything at will.
So dont tell me it is fixed. Evidently it is not fixed

In the first example the ship was webbed down. This makes it easier for supers to get hits. In the second example the ship was webbed & painted. This makes it easier for the supers to get hits. In the third example the ship was close enough to an Archon to get neuted & was likely scramed & webbed aswell.
There is no problem here. Apparently booking your flight & accomodation to Iceland BEFORE you buy the tickets for the convention which is pretty much the only reason you wanted to go there in the first place is popular. |

Yeah, that's what happened. It will work if I open the link in a new tab and get a CCP redirect, but just clicking it mangles the URL. "Blow it all on Quafe and strippers." -á --- Sorlac |

The true EVE end game is claiming all possible Sov in nullsec under your corp, completely obliterating another faction militia as well as becoming the most successful bounty hunter/pirate in lowsec, and finally, buying out every single market in hi-sec.
Then and only then can you say you've reached endgame or beat EVE. I accidentally my assets, is this bad?-á |

probably worth pointing out CCP are not happy with how 0.0 operates currently. encompassed in that is the balance of super cap ships, they've made adjustments in teh past, but obviously due to mass proliferation the balance has skewed so expect to see both titans and supers get a bit of a nerf bat when they get around to rebalancing that area.
give them some time. they were lax on ship balancing for a long time, so it's a big job to now try and get everything back where it needs to be. |

I never understood why people said titans were never intended to kill a lot of little things. When they first came out they had an Area of effect doomsday that killed all the little stuff on grid.
But yes in this carebear null sec era, risk averse large alliances have accumulated lots of these powerful ships. And its a problem for null sec. The large alliances in null sec are the ones who are pushing the changes so its unlikely to change much.
Changes in null sec are no longer likely to be made through massive battles like in the days of BOB. They are more likely to be made through lying about who you are on coms, gaining peoples trust, and then abusing it. Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815
