This started yesterday with constant crashes to desktop, so i reinstalled and today im stuck in the launcher.
After clicking play in the launcher there is no login screen but the process is in the task bar.
so far ive tried erasing the cache and settings form the launcher and manually, reinstalled the game, add the font, add the path to the game icon launcher, updated all my drivers and windows update.

Hi, I had the exact same problem today and it turns out that a custom plugin for Teamspeak (TS Overlay) was crashing and making Eve crash too. All I had to do was disable the plugin and everything was working.
Here's the crash info I could get from administrative tools.

If you go in the start menu, then run... and type in "dxdiag" without the quotes, does it run on the first time or nothing happen?
Also, check in the Event Viewer for crash log (Start menu, run, "eventvwr.msc", Windows Logs, Application).

I'm having the exact same problem. Following this allowed me to get into game twice yesterday, but it seems I have to do this EVERY TIME i want to play.
Make sure you delete the launcher shortcut in your eve files as well

Delete the Launcher folder which can be found in your EVE Online client folder. 2. Download the launcher installer from the following URL: http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/launcherInstaller/EVEOnlineLauncher_1_32_tq.exe3. Once downloaded can you run the .exe file and direct the launcher to your client installation when prompted. 4. Once the launcher installation is complete can you start the launcher using the 'EVE Online Launcher' link which can be found in your clients folder. You should then be able to log into the client as normal. If you notice that your account settings have been cleared, then please try closing the client and also the launcher and then restarting the client. Hopefully they will be available. |
