well if all of those trails converted you would be at 80k just like that my prediction is keep those good updates coming - keep the PC gamer articles coming and other publicity (everyone can help spread the word across other gamming forums etc) we need to push to 100k users. Which would place Eve at 20k simultanioues apparently CCP say it can handle 50k simultanous which would require 200k total paying aco****s

Oh noes, where is the massive flock of players quitting because they don't get everything on market for free and can't wtfpwnbbq everything in a raven? Oh wait, that was just a minor vocal minority on the forum.
Keep up the good work CCP.

Originally by: kieron EVE now has over 65k active accounts and close to another 15k on trial.
65,000 * 15 USD = 975,000 USD per month Thats 12mill USD per year. Not bad at all.
When can I buy stock in CCP

That's a decent turnover for a company of CCP's size, but turnover does not equal profit.

EVE is easily 2 to 3 WoW servers at peak hour. Even in the dead times we draw even with one, at least.
erm no, if you check wowrealms most have around 12k, the busiest going as high as 15k. And there are dozens of servers. ------------------------------

u mean characters.. i checked the wowrealms and the most a server had was 16k something. eve has over 65k active accounts which means it is 4 times as big as the biggest wow servers. ------------------------------------------- Insanes numquam moriuntur! |

Assuming everyone pays Monthly Vs yearly.
I would say real profits after expenses is probably 5 million a year.

Sad really. I know a dozen people here in Iraq that would have logged in, had we been within a thousand miles of our computer. I would have logged in atleast two of mine.
All that and i got 2-3 people convinced to start EVE, and they all want atleast 2 accounts. One for PVP and one for isk hoarding/mining .
Oh, and the battle lag for 80 people will be reduced when they do the weapon fx overhaul. Look forward to that.
