I wonder why that is.
My sweet little, Songbird. You've misconstrued me, if you'd pause for a moment you might even see this. You and Little Cow, are so quick to fling mud you do not even pay attention to what the discussion was about. Maybe it's ironic that you remind of myself and Andreus in our younger, more foolish days.
I called out one person a na+»ve idiot for thinking that there'd be anything less than death as the outcome for the victims of Ocilan's cult. While one can have intellectual discussions with Nacittal, he can be very polite after all, there is still only one goal for those who follow Ocilan's teachings. That is death, and one would be stupid to assume otherwise. I called out Scherezad out brutally, because kindness wasted upon strangers is kindness wasted. Besides, customers who drop business negotiations without a word deserve no good treatment. Speaking of which we now have a surplus of Lai Dai Deteis for anyone interested.
I've indulged your petty little ego enough for now. Maybe that's your problem, your inflated ego, you are nobody, you have nothing and that makes you so insecure that you have the need to lash out at anyone who actually has done something. I pity you, Songbird and I pity your friend Little Cow too. Both of you expect the populace to take you seriously, but no one does. You are nobody, and until that changes, you will be nothing but playthings for the real players - and before you go on a tangent, I do not mean myself. It is those who validate your insignificant existence you should be afraid of, those are the once you pull your strings to make you dance.

I suggest you take a moment to go over my words again. No where am I suggesting that the Seekers or the Equilibrium at large are interested "holding hands in harmony." What I am suggesting is that they, like most other groups, have their goals and beliefs and their actions are guided, even dictated, by those beliefs. I had thought my words were clear in my previous postings but I apparently have to be more blunt.
I believe the homicidal cultists stick to their professed beliefs. I believe those beliefs imply they would give a person, slave or free, Amarrian or Matari, the choice between salvation (conversion to their faith) or death. I respect their dedication to their faith, though I disagree with the extreme measures it prompts.
While I thank you for thinking I am pretty, I have to wonder when it became idiotic to have a modicum of respect for those with the conviction to hold to their beliefs despite opposition.
Seems I owe you an apology then. I read your initial post quite differently than you meant it. Though I disagree on the salvation bit, it is death for everyone after all. I lack the respect for homicidal death cults, this is something I make no quarrels about, as such I think no respect is to be given to such entities.
Even if our views on the matter of respect on Death Cults may differ, I am a man enough to own to my mistakes. I apologize for my rudeness in this case, miss Fehrnah.
Ps. I do think you beautiful, there's something irresistible about that True Amarr heritage. |

Stop this bickering you twits. Until he tortures you, lights you on fire, sexually harasses your wife, and seduces not one, but two of your subordinates and friends, you are not allowed to act bitter towards Vincent Pryce. Yet, even considering all of that, I am not going to exercise that right today.
Vincent is right. Affording Koronakesh any quarter is a dire mistake that he will not hesitate to take advantage of. That includes even a modicum of respect, be it begrudging or otherwise. There is nothing left inside that hollow shell of a man that is redeemable. If you attempt to delve into his mechanical mind or blackened heart you will find only a hungering demon, grasping at those who still live so that he may drag them into his own personal hell. He will take people whether they are willing or not, corrupting their ideas and perspectives on the universe until they are just like him. He can do this by using his clever rhetoric and superficial charisma, or he can bring simple mind-breaking anguish in the form of mental, emotional or physical torment.
Clearly none of you know this monster. I do.
I must say that Koronakesh is one of the few capsuleers that instills a pang of trepidation in my heart every time he rears his ugly head. I am not ashamed at this fear, because it is well deserved. Thankfully my hatred is stronger than that fear. That may seem like a sad statement, but what so many fail to realize is that hatred has a purpose, and that purpose is to protect oneself and others against people like he.
Anyone who looks him in the eye and fails to see the gaping, life-thirsting maw that lies in place of his soul is blind. Anyone who attempts to reach out towards that maw is a fool. Anyone who embraces that maw will find me behind them, ready to destroy the new demon left behind. |

Since you are probably wondering 'what is the mean Angel saying?' I'll spell it out for you.
I was not implying that the aforementioned 'excellent miss Fehrnah' was agreeing on Nacittal's ways, I however was mocking her about the na+»vet+¬ of her beliefs. Believe it or not, there is a difference.
Thank you for clarifying your message, sir; I frequently have difficulties in interpreting the vagaries of language. However, I believe that Ms. Fehrnah's understanding of the spiritual is to be respected. I consider her an expert, for what little worth my opinion holds.
With regards to your compliment, sir - thank you! Sadly it is my esthetician who deserves your praise and not myself. I will certainly pass along your compliments. I will not debate your opinion on my intelligence, I have no ground on which to stand. My record is clear.
I also apologize for the long delay in replying to your business proposal - I have been attempting to secure funding and appropriate background checks for the individuals in question. Please forward a bill of lading and quotation with pricing, and we will be able to complete the transaction.
Thank you for your patience and input, sir. |

Mr. Pryce.
The Equilibrium of Mankind can not hope to realize their aim to sterilize the cluster with their current numbers. Moreover, the Seekers are a mixed-race corporation themselves. So, there is some reason to believe that there was no deviation from their customary offer of conversion or death beyond being an "imbecile," or "having an IQ a tiny bit larger than your shoe size," or even much in the way of respect for pilot Koronakesh' personal virtues.
This is what I believe pilot Fernae was trying to express. You could've reached the same conclusion, or asked for clarification, but Instead you leapt straight to the most negative interpretation, and the most condescension you could muster to reply.
I merely made some educated guesses as to why you did so.
As for your comments, pilot Shutaq -- well. While I empathize with your sorrows, I do not feel the need to study geology or be caught in a rockfall to hold an opinion on the stone I stubbed my toe on. My apologies if this offends you. |

Next time, my dear, let the people you do business with know that you are taking the time to make preparations for the purchase. Leaving the dealers hanging is very poor form, and can lead to misunderstandings and bad feelings. I will notify miss Subaka that you are still interested in the stock we have. |

Did a little background checking and it looks like you nailed it on the head. Former combat pilot, one of the best around. Not someone you'd want to meet in a dark alley or even a well lit one for that matter. And then something happened. A shift in priorities? Change of heart? Somewhere he went from being the mortal terror of others like himself he decided to direct his violence against those that were helpless and completely unable to fight back in any way.
This strikes me as really odd, since most pilots - "normal" pilots - move in the opposite direction. They start off looking for the easy win and then move up to greater challenges once that gets dull. The thrill of adrenalin & risk fuels them to keep taking on tougher and tougher opponents. It's a ramp effect, addictive, and it's what fuels them into becoming the best or die trying.
That someone would move in the opposite direction - to go from being a feared & respected warrior to someone who spends his days paying off CONCORD to look the other way while attacking unarmed civilian ships and stations... it just doesn't compute, at least by conventional psychology.

Impeccable timing, Madame Vitalia. The absence of commentary up to this point must be excused. We have been very busy instructing these people in the proper Faith and, of course, their new roles within it, and these educational operations must take priority over any broadcasting to the public of progress.
My dear Madame Fehrnah:
Understand that though we provide all estranged children of the Divine with the same opportunities to repent their former lives of the sins of false idols and worship and embrace the True Faith, the opportunities are not necessarily provided at the same time. We had very select criteria regarding which people would be taken for instruction. No one was killed in the process of the facility's pacification, but afterward those who did not meet the retrieval criteria were given the honor of being immediately liberated from their mortal vessels and sent upon their final journey.
Lucius:
Many of them are still alive and quite well, and you are correct that we do not care about ransoms. After all, these people are our prospective brothers and sisters, and since the Gates can only open once, it would be absolutely abhorrent to condemn their spirits after their theological education of the Blessed Prophet's faith by simply sending them back into the false empire that once held their souls in darkness. You need not be concerned for the welfare of them or their progeny, and you can take comfort knowing that even should these people fail in their education, their children will not be poisoned by the failure, as they have already been separated and sent on to other facilities.
And perhaps, once their training is finished, you will see your former employees again.
