Hey I wondering if there is any way to get a ship made if one has the materials but not the Blueprint? Are there people who provide this service? Thanks |

Dunno about the service, but you should be able to find one run BPCs on contract for whatever ship it is that you want. |

With ship profits being what they are, just sell the minerals and buy the ship. Should be the easy option most of time. |

There are corps that provide the service to corp-members.
Outside of corp members, I don't know of any corp that will advertise such a service as it is of no profit to them to do so, unless they mark up the cost... and if that's the case you might as well buy from the market.
Try selling the minerals for their isk value and using the isk made to buy the ship your looking for. The markups in the major trade hubs are generally very low for Tech I ships (usually 5% up from mineral cost).

You could probably find a taker if you set it up as a contract. Include the necessary mats, and a modest isk payment, and that should be enough to find someone willing to produce it. |

Just be sure to include in the "request items" the actual ship your looking for. You trade the BPC, minerals and isk, they exchange them for the ship... still I think selling the minerals is the way to go.

Dodixie has 2 or 3 people that advertise various battleship and battlecruiser BPCs for sale, if you have Production Efficiency 5 trained. (If you don't have PE 5, don't even think about building ships, buy them instead).
Still, it is not a very effective way to use your manufacturing slots. I would instead suggest building highly profitable items, selling them, and using that profit to just buy your desired ships. How is that going to work? Since surely they would have to have the ship to give you when they accept the contract, and since the OP seems reluctant to let people know what ship he wants building, it could be a carrier or bigger for all we know, and that's going into a whole new ballgame.
Best protection I can come up with if you haven't got Production Efficiency 5 and are determined to get the ship built instead of selling the minerals and buying the ship is to agree that the person / corp accepting the minerals etc to build the ship pays the market value for the minerals and then 'sells' you the ship back when it's built for the isk they paid you plus their fee for building.
It sounds like a lot of messing about to be honest, and for the ease it's probably better to sell minerals + buy ship, but you'll have to look at the figures to see how much markup there is on the ships on the market.

It seems really unlikely that anyone new enough to want to have a ship built in this fashion is looking for a capital ship. Possible, but unlikely. |
