Hi Folks,
can someone please explain those terms/techniques to a noobish trader:
Splitting Orders Why and how is this done? What are the effects? I split my orders regulary when I am playing the 0.1 ISK game with my buy orders, so I get more assets in fewer time or can compete with my sell orders when prices are good. Are there any other reasons to do it?
Orders Logarithmic Distribution Why would I want to do that? In my current state, I want liquidity back as soon as possible. What's the reasoning behind that?
Orders Bursting What does this mean?
Any other techniques you know of and want to share? Any tips and tricks or hints for an aspiring newbie?
Your opinion and explanations are very much appreciated.
Thank you, Jane |

Splitting orders: Instead of placing one order for 1,000,000 widgets you place 2 for 500,000 or 4 for 250,000
this allows you to update your order more often.
with 2x orders for 500,000 i can update 2 times every 4 minutes
with 4x orders at 250,000 i can update 4 times every 4 minutes
Logarithmic distribution: I have no idea what on earth this might refer to. But i still make money
Orders bursting: Might refer to a margin order not going through.

Logarithmic distribution: Based on buying power generated by the modial interaction of sellers and buyers the logarithmic distribution negates the relative motion of conventional transactions. Given the latest set of non-reversable traction points one could conclude that based on the logarithmic distribution(s) you can measure the inverse-reactive current in unilateral phase with the rest of the market. After you determine this inverse relative current of cash. You can extrapolate to include the whole amplitude of the current flux cycle.
