Edited by: Hellwasp on 31/08/2005 23:51:30 I think these 1 man aliiances are getting annoying. There making the alliance page longer and there absolutel no point to them.
I think that alliances shouldn't be smaller then 10 members to reduce all the extra alliances from poping up because some person wants to stroke his ego and have a "personal" alliance

Edited by: Sypher313 on 31/08/2005 23:58:39 hrmm not sure but most of those "1 man alliances" are DEAD alliances and everyone has "left the building" or something to that effect, tho i may be wrong (there may be some stroking involved somewhere) they aint personal alliances or nething to do with ego.
Good idea to have CCP wtfpwn them off the page and game tho cuz they arent in use nemore.
who knows maybe they will be resurected agian at some point in the future, the toon did spend a bill isk on it tho

Like it was already mentioned, the cost of making an alliance is 1 billion isk (with a "B"). The 1 man alliances are most likely dormaint alliances that could one day rise again, and this time not need the 1 billion creation fee. ------------------------------------------------ Serve the State Join Channel CAINCOM |

1 man alliance is somewhat a contradiciton....actually its completely an oxymoron. _____________________________________________ Kills: 0 Repeats: 0 Bounties Collected...you guessed it.
Gotta get these numbers off the ground. |

Perhaps give the alliance owner the ability to flag it as inactive?

Inactive... NEVER! =) All other 1 man alliances are just copycats hehe
Question would be if there's a min req of 10 people in an alliance does all 10 have to press the "registration" button at the same time or how would that be done?

if it was 10 man minimum - the executing corp would have to have at least 10 members to pull it off - wouldnt take much ie with alts etc but still.
I think a monthly fee for alliances something like 50M ISK might be a solution - those that are inactive will soon disappear.

There's already an operating fee for alliances. Can't remember if it's weekly or monthly, but I believe it's the former. And if it is, it's more than 50M a month.

There is, and it's 2mil/corp/month.

Afaik you cant delete alliances, so they will always have 1 member corp left methinks. Chribba is the only actuall 1 man alliance i think, the rest are just dead. ------------------

Alliances
It's indeed possible to delete an alliance, I see some missing there.

then either they are inactives with lots of ISK in their bank balance or they are actives that can afford to continue to operate

And i suppose you commin here to whinge strokes your ego? Some char who devoted a month of traning to a skill that wont earn him isk and then spending over 1bil isk.
Seriously dude this is a game and ppl will play this game how they want to.

2,000,000 every other time or so vs 1,000,000,000 I know what I'd do.
And be honest, 2M is peanuts.

Dont forget too that if you wanted to declare war against an alliance it would cost more than just a corp.

Yes, God forbid anyone plays this game the way they want to.
As for the 'rules and regulations', Agil Scout's point is still valid. It seems like you're rather eager to introduce some new rules and the only motivation you've provided sofar is that the alliance page is too long.
Instead of enforcing a new rule upon 60K players, how about changing your screen resolution? It'll make it look smaller.

If you don't pay the fee, the alliance doesn't just cease to exist. Instead the executor corp loses the ability to actually change anything (relationships/standings, add new member corps etc) until the bill is paid. That's how I understand what is written about them anyway.
