I was testing some stuff on test server when the current build on TQ was 3581 and Test server 3582. There wasn't any 1400mm II in the hangar so i decided to go shop for some.
I fit my guns later, and... To my big surprise the ROF of my guns had jumped up in 9s ROF with 5 Gyro II.
Normally it's on 8s so this is pretty odd, The guns were already slow and now, i don't know if this is a bug but my tempest will stay in the hangar till this is fixed or if i'm told this is permanent.
Check up your guns ROF on a tempest/typhoon, compare. You'll see the different, and 1sec for me is HUGE.
The Bug was already reported before they launched the patch today onto TQ, i was scared to look at my 1400mm's ROF and i was right to be, they didn't even check my bug report and patched it up.

With normal Tech2 Gear, no Imps and maxed skills, ROF is 8,8 secs.
I hope that its not nerfed :-/

"You can get a rof in the 7.xx normally"
RoF of 7-something seconds with 1400 II's is rather impossible to get with stock tech.2 gear, due to stacking penalties and stuff.
Cmd Woodlouse is right about the 8.8 sec RoF with all skills maxed out.
I suspect if you were getting RoF faster than that, then it's a result of bug (wrong skill stacking or whatever) and it got recently fixed... o.O;

And why would they don't add that in the patch note uh? If you are correct, then i'm stopping using my tempest lol, It's not worth it anymore. I've had the same ROF for a couple of months now, 1 second is horrible.
I'm kinda sick of them not annoncing when they change something.

I could swear there was a mention about fix of sorts to some skill stacking in them, actually (that's where the guess what caused the time to be 'correct' now came from) ... but looking through the notes now i can't find it :/

For only Gyros or do you see any change in your ROF on other turrets? I didn't check the ROF of my rails on my megathron.

I never paid attention to what the exact RoF on my weapons is, to be honest ^^;;
checking now, for hybrids it's at the level i'd expect it to be based on the calculation by hand, but if it was any faster before, i have no idea :<

Think the module parameters are cached on fitting, so any changes don't show until module is repackaged/fitted, or there's a change in your skills that can force the game to recalculate the module attributes....
What setup/skills/implants did you get the 7.52 RoF with? ^^;;

Domination have faster ROF, And as for the repackaging and all, it's not changing anything.

"Domination have faster ROF, And as for the repackaging and all, it's not changing anything."
Yup, but even with their faster RoF it gets as low as 8.36 secs with 5x gyro II (would be 7.9 sec with 6 damage mods)
So either he's using something better than stock tech.2 damage mods, or his turrets are still keeping cached attributes from the time when this possible bug was active... and he won't see the 'correct' lower RoF until guns are repackaged/refitted, or his skills change o.O;
edit: scratch it, there's no damage mods with RoF bonus higher than tech.2, and the turret rate of fire bonus wouldn't shave nearly a second from the rate of fire, either... so i guess he's lucky to still experience the bug due to caching. But i don't think anyone will be able to talk him into refitting the guns to test it ;s

Before patch the ROF was 23.625 seconds, and now it shows 23.63 seconds.
Not a big difference imo (looks more like rounding).

I was on test server 3582. And looked at TQ 3575, and both were at 23.63. So you're wrong -.-

It shows as 23.63 in game, but is/was really 23.625 both in Item Database and on that Item Inventory page thingie ^^
(doesn't seem like it was changed, though. So whatever it is, it's not it)
