Ok Im running lvl 4s in my Eagle. Currently im using two warp stabs in the low slots so I can escape if I start to lose my ship.
My question is this....I have np whatsoever getting out even when I have several ships right on top of me. Is it neccesary to have two fitted or will one suffice?
I dare not try it out without asking on here as its rather 'risky'.
I know not all rats scramble but seeing as my log has not worked in months I cant often see when I am being scrambled or by what....
If anyone has been brave enough to try with just one and survived then any comments are appreciated.
Cheers in advance.

I run Level 4 missions without any stabbies - stupid I know and I have lost 1 ship - but usually I manage to take out the webbers and scramblers before it gets too close to ship disposal.
I have way better things to put in my low slots - its an apoc btw

I tend to be a bit nearer the OMFG stage in the Eagle than I would be if I was using a battleship.
I dont like having the stabs in but its the difference between getting out and dieing occasionally.
Yes I know I could use a BS but Im happy as I am in Eagle...apart from the one or two stab question....

I do Level 4s in a raven, solo, with one stab. I don't yet do the big L4 Deadspace missions, like Silence the Informant, the Extras or any rogue drone missions.
After nearly losing my raven to a Duo of Death mission, when a single scrambler frigate suddenly agro'd on me well after the rest of the ships, I don't go in without one. But just one.

I remember finding one NPC BS in the EvE-I archives with 2 point Warpscramble streangth before it went down and I think it was the 'Elder Core Commander' in the Serpentis 'Duo of Death' lvl 4 missions. Can someone confirm this?

You are in a catch22 situation
Its marginal whether an eagle can handle a lot of missions
Now to prevent you from dieing you gimp you setup with regards to tanking / damage.
Its a no win.

I used to run lvl 4's in a raven and use 1 wcs.. and was never jammed when i needed to leave..
I may have just been lucky and killed all the scramers before hand, didn't really pay attention _________________________________________________________

I always thought that one Warp Stab would be enough on my level 4 missions until today.
I havent really tried alot of missions since the new patch. Cant remember the name of the mission, but I know that a corpii shade and corpii herald both scrammed me.
Flying with 2 tech II large armour reps and 3 rat specific harderners and by the time the first cycle of my reps had elapsed I was in structure.
I used to enjoy missions as a break from the norm, but now I think they are ghey! Go pod some poor innocents, its much more fun!

NPCs on some DS missions have been beefed up. on harder level 4s takea corp buddy or make sure u have heavy drones. And can use em - that will save youre bacon Let the heavy drones handle the frigs - once gone move to optimal and blast remaining cruisersand BS
Suggest u get some practice in 0.0 regions with warp jamming andwarp scrambling ships
