I'm sure you put a lot of effort into it. However, the main reason so many ppl used eve-kills.com was the ability to compare yourself against most other corps. With so many new killboards that feature is lost, which is a shame. At the same time its kind of good cause killboard culture totally sucks. ----------------------------------------- WoW player > Oh no I died! I have to walk now a bit! |

maybe so, but the more people that use it then the better it will be. plus were the only ones (as far as i know) that are running competitions, where ISK is the prize. _______________________________________________

FooB2, GeoffW:
One really useful feature to make your killboard popular is to have some sort of mass import of killmails. for e.g. BURN Eden wants their killmails on this board. So either do it like killboard.eve-extra.com does i.e. you send all the killmails to the guy who made it, OR you code something where it will take a zip file open it up and import all the killmails into the database.

I see a huge flaw in how u are suposed to post the mails, as the ingame browser can't handle long killmails u will have alot of mails that are cut off.
Just a friendly advice.

Well what u have done is take the simple path just because it's convinient and say afterwards when the problems shows "not my fault it's a limitation in the game", and why on earth u would take the time to code a kb and not get past a well known problem like this before is beyond me.
I wont be using it anyway so i realy dont care if it works or not, just wanted to give some friendly advice but aparantly that wasn't good enough.

The limitation is built into eve, you can simply copy the rest of the mail and paste it under, and then you have the full killmail,
so get your facts right before you start shooting your mouth off.

Try this one... you will have to enter your password twice, and though I've input all of my kill & death mails I have yet to see them parsed. If you get an error 405 just refresh the page a couple of times, the login will appear.
This board uses the exact same format as eve-kills did (that site is now gone), which makes it quite simple to use.

What exactly does work on this new eve-kills copy? if you click a corp on the homepage it just loops you round to the homepage, and you can't search for players or corps.
The player details only seem to show the number of kills as well, not the actual kill details...
