As title. Have looked at the top rated fits on BC (the 5 Neut one and the 3 Neut/2 HML one) and I can't get either of them to work without implants. My implant slots are full and I'm not changing them so I want a fit that works 'as is'. Plus +ša change, plus c'est la m+Žme chose |

All your jump clones have their implant slots full?
Anyway, if I'm looking at the same fittings you are (this and this)... those are nearly full T2 fits. Change modules to meta 4 until they fit.
(Note: Did not read the fits closely enough to determine if they are actually worth a damn.) |

As you can see, it's an armor fit because i wanted more medslots to take full advantage of the squishy TR-Bonus on the Curse. Many prefere Shieldfits for more speed / Firepower. But this one really works good for me, the curse isn't a very good damage dealer anyways. It has other qualitys for a fleet. |

For solo I'd go with shields, the range at which this thing works pretty much negates the need for TD anyway. The faction warp dis is well worth the isk.

I've had this fit from the first days of flying one and I've not found a huge number of ways to improve it beyond faction spaffing .
Maisonian's Curse
Highs: 3 x medium T2 Neut 2 x small corpii c-type nosferatu
Mids: 1 x Experimental 10mn MWD 1 x Warp Disruptor T2 1 x Electrochemical Cap Booster 1 x Sensor Booster T2 2 x Tracking Disruptor T2
Lows: 1 x DCU T2 2 x ENAM T2 1 x 800mm RTP
Rigs: 2 x Egress Port Maximiser T1
Drones: To taste, although ALWAYS have a flight of EC-600s.
A few people might say Ewww armour curse with rubbish buffer but remember, it's a recon. If you're taking too much damage, you're doing your job wrong. I advise this for solo work against slower targets, NOS will permarun as an anchor at around 18-20km, allowing you to neut other ships with impunity and lowish reliance on the cap booster. Micromanage your TD, range scripts will negate most of the damage coming in. A 3rd TD will fit in place if the Sebo, but downgrade to best named. The curse is a nicely bonuses ship; it's a shame to waste the bonuses :) |

i cant seem to keep a curse for more than a few days....
they really are cursed! everyone shoots them, and yeah fine, 1v1 or two you can stay alive but zee blob always unites from no where to get mine :(

Fine let me say the exact same thing in a nicer way.
If you're new to pvp you shouldn't try to get into it with flying a curse because 1. you don't really know what you're doing and its a rather expensive lossmail. 2. The curse is highly overreated and you will be very disappointed by the results, it does really poorly in anything but 1v1's.

I feel the curse needs more neuting. I also hate not being able to talisman / snake my pods, so this fit keeps the head clear.

All in all, 1min cap with everything running. 2min cap if you have only 3 med neuts going. Its a beast for small gang.
That being said, I feel that curse is a weak solo boat, simply because it lacks DPS. But there is not a better small gang recon. Curse Number 1 IMO. |

Just curious, but wouldn't a nanocane fit do pretty much anything a curse or ashimmu ship would do? especially if you have talisman implants? Or is the curse that strong of a ship for things..? |

The neut on a nanocane is auxillary and takes its time to do its work vs similarly sized targets, and only then if they're not cap boosted. It also hurts frigates.
The ashimmu is a brawler that doesn't have the range bonus of the curse.
A curse will empty out a battlehip's cap and turn its guns off fast, or it will empty multiple similar sized targets at once. And it will do it all from long range. |

Curse has 38K med neuts, and if you get faction med neuts, you have neuting out 44K. Not to mention the fact that the curse also has a much stronger cap recharge rate, and has a huge bonus to neuting power over the cane. Cane is nothing compared to the curse when it comes to field control. If you really want to get crazy, slap a heavy neut on your curse- and alpha cap cruisers from 78K or so. You can shut down every HAC / T3 / and Recon with one click of a button. Its really powerful. |

However, how about skipping the Missile launcher and try to squeeze more neuts to the fit? The T2 TD are plainly a CCP-fail design. Meta4 free up CPU which could be used for more neuts. Does the ship even offer the powergrid for more neuts than the 3? Maybe adding small neuts in case medium ones do not fit? Just need neuts and TD for this ship with a heavy armor tank, if it is run in an armor-logi fleet. Can even run with zero DPS in a fleet and be used as a support ship with ewar- and logi- drones, maybe.
It could work out well and be very helpful and fun to fly. |

Answer the OP's question if you wish and move on. It is not yours to judge about his budget and what he should fly and not fly, that is his own decision. If you have any fitting suggestions to make, then we would really love to see your fit and discuss about it. If you do not have anything to offer, then move on and read the next thread.
Furthermore, you have just stated your opinion about the Curse in an immature manner, and believe it or not, your opinions are not the ultimate truth. It is you who underrates the Curse, and it is you who is disappointed by its performance, and it is you who would perform poorly with it in an organized fleet. I think very highly of the Curse as a support ship in a fleet and can assure that it is a more than adorable support ship, possibly the very best Amarr EWAR platform you could fit and fly and definitely one of the best and well thought out ships in EVE. The Curse is majestic.
I really wonder why this thread has not been closed already because of your two posts up there. I would have closed the thread and given you a warning. No need to cultivate such inappropriate and toxic behavior in the community. ISD Ezwal did a mistake by unlocking this thread and indirectly supporting your toxic and shameful behavior. Someone should definitely look into this. |

WOW did someone get out of the wrong side of the bed this morning?
The amarr recons are something I would really like to try but I am generally a cheap frig/T1 scrublord who gets a nose bleed if I undock anyhting over 30 mil
Having said that I've saved both fits and intend to go out and get a couple of silly loss mails as my recon 5 is up in a few days That is the Way, the Tao.

Chessurs fit is basically my gang fit curse, except I drop the Invul for a TD and the SMCs for resist rigs, I generally find you don't need the extra cap. |
