Have any of you done anything related to EVE irl? Like thought you were in eve, and done something.
I always want to drag-n-rotate my windows, as I would've when I am looking at my ship. Also once when I was crossing the street when the traffic-signs began to make their biip-biip noise (to help blind people understand it's green), I started looking around me for someone wanting a target-lock (yeah, I'd been playing for almost a day straight....)
Come on peeps, I need a laugh just about now |

Ofcourse though, id imagine you secretly love being able to do next to nothing all day, scrubbing on forums and the like..... Be honest
Eve related, well not realy, though when i was hardcore quake, my active mind often at work was more thinking about the evenings upcomming clan match, and thinking about there players weak areas, and ways to exploit to insure a glorious victory...
Something id reguard now as being completely naffed in the head, but at the time....

Yes, of course. I routinely go into space in my spaceship, shoot the ISS and smacktalk NASA while hiding in a safe spot just outside of Phobos.

When a game crowds into your real life...maybe it is time to put the game down?

Haha! That reminds me of ye ol' TIE Fighter vs X-Wing days, when we had battles on local LAN for hours on end when I was at Univ. I had some really spacedout furball dreams |

Edited by: Calderio on 30/09/2005 13:57:08 dreaming of fleet battles, thinking of ship layouts in math class, setting up a monthly calender of who will be online and when to plan daily mining ops, learned 1337 and started to use it in rl, these are just a few things i did when in the first year when i started playing this game.
oh and surfing forums when i should be studying for a exam.

I woke up this morning and remembered that I had two meetings . In a bright flash I suddenly realized that I could send one character to the first meeting, and the other character to the second meeting - not having to travel to both places myself.
... what a turnoff waking up for real can be sometimes ... I wish I was schizo for god sake!
