Every now and then I keep getting notifications that I've received a new EVEMail, despite not actually having received any. |

Also it doesn't clear the flag when you've read them in game, so overall it's not a very good indicator. -- |

Yes, it happens all the time. Shows a new mail indicator even though I just read them (in EVE Gate). |

I had the same happen today. Have had the issue with mails not being flagged in EVE Gate after reading them in game unless i wait a certain amount of time, but today EVE Gate notified me about a new mail maybe..3 or 4 hours after i had received it and read it in game. You have to read them in EVE Gate for it to stop showing them in EVE Gate. Reading them in-game does nothing. Also, it is cumbersome to access them on EVE Gate because they load slowly, it takes several clicks to get to each one, and you can't right click+open in a new tab so you have to navigate away from whatever you were already doing. Drives me nuts. I'd almost rather not even have the option to read my in-game mail on EVE Gate if it meant I didn't have to put up with all this. Fit a warfare link to your tech 1 battlecruiser. Train Wing Commander. Get in the Squad Commander or Wing Commander position. Your fleets will be superior to everyone else's. |

In EVE Gate you can click on "all mail"; select the top left checkbox to select all mails in the list and then choose "mark as read" under "more actions".
But even when I read them in EVE Gate, I often get the notification thing anyway. |
