My corporation now has almost sufficient standings to anchor a Hi-Sec POS, execpt that 2 corp member's standings (or lack thereof) are dragging down the overall corp standing.
From my research to date, I have not been able to find any information about whether or not there is a minimum number of members in a corp which wants to anchor a POS in Hi-Sec systems.
The only article where I found mention of it seemed to suggest that only 1 member was required?
Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

You can have a single member corp and anchor a POS if the corporation standings are where they need to be. If the other two or more are dragging down the rest boot them for a day and the overall standing will raise up at the next downtime and then you can reinvite them. |

unless rules changed it takes 5 or 7 days (i forget which) for new corp standings to be derived. therefor if you kick everyone out of your corp, then in 5 days corp standings will be equal to your personal standings.
regardless, no there is no minimum number of people. Just boot the laggers, tell them to come back later, or quit sucking, whichever you prefer. |

1.
Boot the people, wait till DT, put up the POS, and invite them back.
Corp Standings are calculated every DT using the average standings of all members with applicable standings (a character who has never gained nor lost standing with something doesn't get counted for that thing) who have been a member for at least 7 days. This is EVE - Everybody Versus Everybody.

Actually the Standings are based on characters that have been in the corp for a minimum of 7 Days. If someone leaves the Standings are then calculated at DT based on the remaining members. |

If you kick everyone out of your corp for re-anchoring, it does indeed take 7 DT's for the new averaged standings to take affect.

I've had to do this many times, and 7 days it is. If that is the case, it is a bug/problem. That is not the intended mechanic. It is supposed to be, as listed above, the average of all non-null standings of all characters in corp for >=7 days, calculated at downtime. |

Just give it a try. I've always had to wait 7 DT's, no exceptions. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |

Note that members with 0 standing are not used for the calculation. |

This changed a while back. Standings are updated at every down time.
If the low standing corp members leave the standing s will adjust at the next down time. Even if they rejoin right away they will be considered new members and there low standings will not count for 7 days. But the old mechanics where standings took several days to adjust are gone.
Keep in mind though corp standings only consider base standings, not effective standings as modified by connections skill. |

I've had to do this many times, and 7 days it is. I have done this many times myself. infact just moved a POS last week, and had to bump my standings. Standings up date at the next down time. unless it bugs, which is common. If I take my highest standings character and start a new corp with them I have to wait 7 days, as even in the new corp my standings will not count for 7 days. But if only the low standing members are booted, the next down time will show the standings increase.
It takes 7 days for the members that rejoin to affect standings as they are considered new members, even if only out of the corp for 5 minutes. However the standings of the corp will be averaged between the remaining members at the next down time.
For example if I have a corp with 6 members, 1 member has standings over 7.0, 2 members have standings over 5.0 , 2 have standings around zero, and the third has negative standings. Say the average standings is about 3. I can not anchore a POS. If I boot the three lowest standings characters, and immediately re-invite them they will be considered new members and will not affcet the standings for 7 days. At the next down time standings will be updated to the average of the remaining members that were not booted an re-invited. This will give me about 7 days with corp standings over 5.0. After 7 days the re-invited members will again pull standings back down.
Doing this with all members but the one with over 7.0 standings will give me about 7 days with corp standings equal to the standings of the one member that was not kicked and re-invited.
You do not need to wait until after down time, or after you anchor your POS to re-invite the booted members, they will not count towards standings until the seventh downtime after being booted and rejoining. the only time this gets tricky is when the C.E.O. is one of the low standings you need to get rid of. you need to make someone else C.E.O. when they leave, and trust they will give the corp back after you return. |
