Hello, fellow egg pilots...
I'm looking for a few PVP-dedicated Deimos setups. What I have now is this:
---Deimos (PVP, Brawler) 5x Heavy Electron Blaster II 1x 10MN Microwarpdrive 1x Stasis Webifier 1x Warp Scrambler 1x Medium Armor Repairer II 1x 800mm Plate 1x Energized Reactive Plating II 1x Energized Adaptive Nano Plating II
This is fine, but I'm wondering what else I might be able to put on it. Suggestions appreciated.

2 mag stab II's? I guess a Medium Nos in the last high is not really an option, because of your 800mm plate?

A Snigg! Avast! :P
I'm kind of short on PG and CPU.
CPU 346/396 PG 1054/1075
I was hoping someone could come up with an entirely new/different setup, because I'm not sure that the one I posted is going to work. Then again, I have yet to even try it.
Will try using two Mag Stabs, though. --------------------------------------------- Johnny Twoshoe - Nuttier Than Thou (\_/) (O.o) (> <) |

If you can't fill all your slots, then it's not viable... Not using the 6th high slot is acceptable on some setups, but leaving two low slots unused isn't. And it's a pity not to fit damage mods on this ship, so definitely try to fit 2 mag stabs II in there. And if the 800mm plate is being a problem, replace it with a 400mm one. I know it's not as good, but it still helps. Plus with the upcoming changes to armor plates, you probably won't want that 800mm on a cruiser in the future. And do try to fit a medium nos in that 6th slot. And if you want to try something fun and you don't care about killing fast frigates, put a tracking disruptor instead of that webber.

That is quite a defensive setup for a deimos I would tend to go for a much more attacking set up. Lose the plate put some mag stabs in and a nos but thats not a bad setup by any means.

5 Ions T2 Nos if you can fit it.
Web, Scramb, MicroWarp
400 plate Med Rep T2 Explosive Hard PDU 2 Mag Stabs
I swap the Mag stabs for WCS if I'm short on cash.

Another damn Deimos thread, there is a six-page monster stickied above! But regardless, I feel generous so I shall spill some beans:
High
5 * Heavy Electron Blaster IIs 1 * M Nosferatu II
Medium
1 * 10Mn MWD II 1 * Scrambler (7.5Km) 1 * Webifier (85% plus)
Low
1 * Explosive Armour Hardener II 1 * M Armour Repairer II 1 * Cap Relay 3 * Mag Stab IIs
Drones
5 * Infiltrator IIs 5 * Valkyrie IIs
You're looking at resistances of at least 60%, a DPS of around 520 and you aren't bogged down by a plate. The latter is a very bad idea, the Deimos handles like a bus compared with other Heavy Assaults. Slowing yourself down for a few more armour points is simply not worth it: get in there quickly and deal as much damage as you can. Please don't mention Ion Blasters, or else I'll be forced to write a rather extended essay.

High: 5x Ion's, Nos if it fits Med: Mwd, Webber, 20km Scrambler Low's: Med Repairer, 1x Explosive Hardner, 4x Damage mods.
There u go. If you know your against somthing that wont be doing explosive damage then swap the hardner for a 5th damage mod. Tracking disrupter instead of webber helps against the bigger ships as well.

Ever though about dropping teh cap relay for a PDU II (not much cap lost, overall), and then fitting a mix of ions and electrons. You can still keep the medium nos (might have to drop back to a diminishing, but its the same as t2, really), and you'll squeeze a bit of extra damage out of that. Or, if for some reason jsut using a few ions is bad, please, extended essay me.

Deimos is, in my opinion, a one-trick pony. Either go for a gank setup (with neutrons and a lot of MSF2), or go for a tank setup (Electrons and 1 or 2 MFS2)
