Keep the info coming in... If enough stories are shared, I will try to get an interview with the thread acknowledged "Greatest"... and they shall also be awarded CAKE. I fear to ask what CAKE is an acronym for, considering you have a lair and all rejoice for cake may or may not be a lie after all!

No EVE villain will ever top Tank CEO. It's just not gonna happen. He was infamous and legendary during the first five years of the game. "you can identify eve players by looking at their cars. Since they don't drive what they can't afford to lose."-á --áBienator II |

Bump....
Keep those names coming, AND don't forget the "and why?" part. I am sure that several pilots might be entertained by the epic stunts that have been pulled, so tell the tale, link a story or something... share your biggest LOL, or OMGWTH moment when you heard, or experienced EvE super villainy at it's finest. |

The 'Other' because unless you read Templar One (or the latest chronicle(s)) you don't even know it exists while it manipulates New Eden. The true mark of a supervillian. Not being seen as a supervillian. |

You're all wrong, the greatest Supervillain in Eve is CCP Hilmar, because somehow he's managed to get the lot of us addicted to a terrible game, and we like it. A war hasn't been fought this badly since Olaf the Hairy, High Chief of all the Vikings, accidentally ordered 80,000 battle helmets with the horns on the inside. |

I think that EVE being such a metagame enabled game, the Biggest Villain, thinking of it coldly here, will never be known to anyone of us.
A real VIllain moves behind the shadows, manipulates events, forges friendships and alliances and twists them to his advantage always looking the lesser, meek or someone unimportant when the spotlight hits him briefly.
If we could equate that to EVE Online, we are looking at someone with several accounts, some them being booted up using different VPNs, with throwaway alts, easily laundered isk and cheap plex bought off the market to enable said alts for a precise amount of time, with indirect presence in key geo-political regions and indirect relationship to people in "power" in specific alliances.
We will never know her or him , and that-¦s the way she/he likes it.

There is a few that comes to mind..
Sir Molle is on the list since he managed to get basically half the universe to gang up on his to get him and BOB down. The Mittani is also on there since Goons are known for the fact that they do **** off people, they scam people and in general anyone flying with Goons cant be trusted (in my opinion). T20 is also on the list but because of the circumstances around it i prefer to not say much about it. Cally also comes to mind because of the EVE bank scam which was both very successful and really made a lot of players realize exactly HOW far someone is willing to go and how many "ingame lives" they are willing to "destroy". http://www.qj.net/mmorpg/news/biggest-scam-in-eve-online-history.html Verone is also on the list since he used to be one of the more respected and feared pirates out there (not to mention his alliance). Seleene also makes the list since (even if its a merc profession) MC really managed to destroy a lot of alliances over the years, and i think they had a great impact on 0.0 politics when they where around. Not really an arch-villain, but maybe worthy of mention: Socratic. His M.O. (modus operandi): 1) Smack talk about what a badass you are 2) Get killed 3) Smack talk about how you're going to come back in a better ship and kill the **** out of the guy who killed you. 4) Repeat
One of my former corp mates was lucky enough to get his first ever pvp kill on Socratic. It was a great day for my mate-- first ever kill, plus a long stream of smack talk bonus content.
Actually, I'd say Socratic's more of a hero than a villain. No matter how many ships he loses, he and his smack machine keep coming back for battle. Kind of like the Black Knight in 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail.' |

Now, to capture CCP Eterne and monologue while he frees himself from being hung upside down over a pit filled with ill tempered sea bass. Will you then hold the EVE universe ransom for.... ONE MILLION ISK?

the ultimate villian in eve is that who is against the players, anyone who petitions to have gamplay changed which the players love is the enemy, anyone who isnt with the playerbase is the enemy, anyone who agrees with CCP on everything is the enemy,, anyone who thinks ships should be built this way, that way, flown this or that way, or eve should be played this or that way is the ENEMY. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNReV76PtqM |
