Hey all,
I've been away for a few months and kinda lazy to figure the entire market out. Maybe someone could be so kind to answer a few questions
I see that alot of items that used to be sold through contracts, can be sold on the market. such as faction pos modules and officer stuff. Are these items still profitable, or not worth the hassle anymore?
How's the T3 and T2 market these days?
Are there still items left that can be sold only through contracts?
Once again, apologies for being lazy

Ain't that the way this thread always starts?

What kind of question is that?
Yes, you can still make profit on those items.

Let me check.
Yep. They're definitely still markets.

Yep.
Going back a bit:

Faction Stuff: There's still profit available. Some of the scams have been eliminated. (http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/lpstore/ can help point you in the direction of where to spend LP. As for just trading in them, look at the margins.)
T2 is doing just fine. It's varying up and down, but that's normal market movement. T3 I can't speak for, but I'd be surprised if it's fallen that far.
Yes, some items can still only go through contracts. These tend to be mission items. Or ones which are pretty useless (Elite Drone AI anyone?) Steve Ronuken for CSM 9!-á I'm starting early :) Handy tools and an SDE conversion Twitter: @fuzzysteve on Twitter |

T2 is a little more unstable than usual due to the planned Moon mineral changes (reduced reliance on Tech mineral derivatives, increased reliance on R64 derivatives) as well as the addition of 4 new racial composites that will be incorporated into some components. For more info on that, go to:
http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/resource-companion-blog/
Tech has been falling for months but plummeted down to ~25k buy order after fanfest. As a result of that and the planned changes, Nanotransistors and Fullerides also took a dive. Nanos were down to around 3700 before recoiling back to about 5500 a week later and currently going down to around 5000 today. Fullerides dropped down to ~800 before going back to around 1400, currently going down again towards ~1100 ish.
So ye, the fanfest changes shook things up and there are and will be effects on the T2 market and production thereof. But there's still plenty of money to be made ;) |
