So i love eve im just confused in what to do. I dont mind mining have to make isk someway, i was trying manufacturing but it got boring and so not doing that anymore. I like going in wormholes and getting anything i can ladar sites, grav sites and radar if my other account can handle the rats. So idk what to do to make isk, right now i can use a ret and have t2 strip miners. My othe account is skilling for a wolf. so any idea's on what i should do. Main things are i need to make isk and i want to start pvping on my other account. |

Well.... my corp is working on building an environment for stuff like that. I'm bordering on recruiting outside the proper forum, so anything else along those lines, you'll have to convo me, in-game.
For on-topic's sake... if you want to both PvP and make isk... I think you're on the right track by having one isk-making toon, and one PvP toon. Time will tell if you can sustain it, but don't discount missioning, ratting, and plex-running. The only people who can do nothing but PvP are the folks who make enough money, IRL to buy PLEXes for income. If you can afford that, then that's an option. If not, there are endless write-ups by experienced players on what does and does not work. Chances are, though... if you can afford two accounts, you can afford to buy two PLEXes a month.... one for sub, one for isk. PvP *can* be a source of isk if you do it right. Killing a T2 ship can net you a healthy sum of isk if you have time to loot and salvage the wreck. I made a mint off of that very thing in my nullsec days. Lowsec piracy can provide you with that opportunity as well, if your corp has a dead-end system under control. I have experienced that comfort, as well. I would add a recommendation to look at Isk, The Guide Perhaps look for a new player corp that will help you find purpose in New Eden. This. Learning to PvP opens many doors and this is the best way to do it. Hooray, I'm l33t! -á(Kil2: "The higher their ship losses...the better they're going to be.") |

Just a note on this, you will take standings hits with the opposing factions, basically locking you out of their space in anything other than your pod. It's great fun, but that may not be for you.
If you want something that doesn't force the standings hit (but you basically lose ISK on) try RvB. Bienator II: "You can identify eve players by looking at their cars. Since they don't drive what they can't afford to lose." I play in highsec. |

Come to nullsec and kill people. Seriously, it's the most fun you will have in this game.
If that's too big of a leap, get a toon in OUCH or RVB. Tears will be shed and pants will need to be changed all round. |

Do what I do.
I do what?
I do everything at once in the very same instant in time, such that the space around me destabilizes and sucks me brain first into a twisted backwards universe where up is down and vanilla isn't the best flavor anymore. noobs are in titans and an ibis is a kind of food, I dock at a station and fill it with raw tritanium. I go back to the captains quarters and turn the docking bay on blend. the whole ship hangar starts spinning like a blender with the tritanium flying around and smashing into things. then i scream
"FLUSH!"
and there is a massive toilet flushing sound as the hangar drains shooting the roiling tritanium and myself out into space. |

Stop mining. Now. Before it's too late.
You want isk? Learn to fly a well fit frig for less than 3 mil, and start plexing in FW. Wait for fights, and learn to judge if it's worth it to stay and fight, or move to a different target. You will pay for your cheap fits that way, and learn much. Since you're new, you need to strike a balance between plexing and fighting, but err on the side of caution when low on isk. When you have lots of isk, play super aggressive. You'll learn faster that way. Basically, play like an isk farmer, fight like an elite PvPer. Get rich and have fun simultaneously. It's win win. I wouldn't call it "learning to PvP", but it is certainly learning combat.
The combat itself is only a part of PvP. Dirscanning, probing, knowing when and how to lay low, and awareness of surrounding systems through various means are all just as critical, if not moreso, in most PvP. FW will teach you how to fight and cooperate, but that is maybe 1/3rd of the complete skillset. TEST Alliance BEST Alliance |

The paradox in EVE is that to learn how to live, you first have to die. Lots of times.
If you learn something each time it happens, you'll get there in the end. We are not amused... |

Op, what about learn playing with other people?
You're playing a little % of the game alone or some times with a friend or two, you're wasting precious time doing things alone while you could be making friends, find people with common interests and having tons of fun laughing on comms, singing and getting drunk with while loosing ships a noob wouldn't be as bad, and this is awesome.
Be my guest and start playing a massive multi player game with actually, other players. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

1. Acquire friends 2. Participate in group activities, emergent gameplay 3. ??? 4. Profit - play EVE the way it's meant to be played. |
