Spiders are more clever than we think. We need to do something about them or in 10 years we will be their slaves. For example i'm 20 years old and i can't use any cloaking device yet. |

How? Dude..... EVERYONE knows that spiders are the only arthropods that have enough powergrid to fit a cloak. Didn't pay attention in beginning high school zoology? They totally covered that.
Also: begun, the cloaky spider EVE meme has. "you can identify eve players by looking at their cars. Since they don't drive what they can't afford to lose."-á --áBienator II |

Then it's time for desperate measures. You need to bubble every entrance and exit to your room. By that, I mean go out and buy one of those big rolls of bubble wrap and coat your room with it. It has the added effect that when you get ganked, you can throw **** and not have to worry. This Space Intentionally Left Blank |

and as it's a "real life" spider you can use water wapor to find it, unlike in EvE YOU HAVE NO WAY TO FIND THE CLOAKED RETARDS EVEN IF YOU WANTED TO...

I have two Maine Coons. If you have never experienced that breed of cat... they are basically the result of a mad scientist's attempt to make dogs look like cats. So, what I have to deal with every day is a pair of retractable-clawed, 3 1/2 foot-long, 20-lb Labradors that never bark and crave the taste of fish and bird.
These two adorable bags of murder will gate camp the front door every time I exit "system" (aka: my apartment), and ambush me when I come back through the gate. But, they're decent corpmates, so they only take me down to armor, and warp off. I'm pretty sure they qualify as HACs.
Then, there's the two noobships we're fostering for the next month. Yes.... because two full-grown Maine Coons weren't enough, my gf and I had to volunteer to foster a pair of tiny MC kittens. I'm not even going into all the crazy jams they get themselves into. "you can identify eve players by looking at their cars. Since they don't drive what they can't afford to lose."-á --áBienator II |

Now I want to make a list comparing all the animals people tend to have in their houses to ship types.
Pretty sure most dogs would count as Battleships. Pit Bulls, Huskies, Malamutes, GSD's and wolf hybrids are definitely Marauders. Great Danes, Dobies, Wolfhounds and Saint Bernards are probably Dreads.
Desert Lynxes and Norwegian Forrest Cats are Battlecruisers. "you can identify eve players by looking at their cars. Since they don't drive what they can't afford to lose."-á --áBienator II |

Rhivre wrote:Having consulted various textbooks and peer reviewed journals, it is my solemn duty to warn you that it is not the Arachnis cloaking device you should be concerned about, it is the extreme OP range on the stasis webifier.
Not only does it have a range of 500mm, thereby making it employable for off grid webbing, it also has the following terrifying modifications:
Passive targeting ability, no yellow box to alert you! Extended area of effect, so capable of affecting multiple targets at once. Finally, and most terrifying of all, this is anchorable, meaning that, you could be there, happily approaching the door, ready to jump to safety, when suddenly, at 78cm from the door, you run into the web.
2nd finally: This is deployed using stealth technology, so you will not realise it is there until it is too late.
Consultation with learned colleagues of mine has led to the following recommendations:
Retreat to the duvet and remain under cover We will send RnK in to cleanse the area shortly DO NOT undock from the duvet until the all clear is given
I laughed so hard at this! WARNING: this post is filled with cerebral dissentry |

what do i do.
Stop getting too much drunk or too much high.
Get some sleep, have a good breakfast, get out of that dirty space you're living for weeks now, go shopping a bit, have a drink with friends, meet a nice lady and have some fun for real.
You'll see, things will go better then. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

Cloaky spiders are a problem and there is clearly only one solution. You'll have to take a page from the Dusties and have a friendly capsuleer nuke your house from orbit and level everything.
Its the only way to be sure.
