I've made a video on how you can bypass the launcher since a lot of people haven't figured this one out, and a lot of you hates the new launcher.
http://youtu.be/kpEtdMdBvlM
All your updates will still take you to the launcher during and after the update.

Another easier way, is simply to change the target properties of the Eve shortcut. Mine is in the following, but basically you alter the part after CCP\EVE\
"C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe"
Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the lions will ignore you in the savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless. |

That's not really an easier way for people who don't know about computers. Most people don't know where and how to change the shortcut. My way is a simple right click, and a left click to pin it to the task bar.
Anyways, a person that watched the video said "this also restores the log off button in-game." I log off by just closing the window, so I didn't know it did that. So if you're missing that, you can do that to get it back. |

Pin to the task bar doesnt work on systems below Vista (you'll be surprised how many ppl still use XP). Also there is nothing hard in navigating to (eve istallation folder)\bin\exefile.exe > rightclick > send to desktop (create shortcut). |
