Hi all
I am looking to find someone that will teach me the wonders of PVP. I have been hammering out level 3 agent missions for a while now with no problems at all.
I dont want to join a corp at the moment as i have RL issues to deal with which means I cant give my all in a corp environment.
I fly a Dominix and would like to venture out into lower sec space with good knowledge on how to deal with real players instead of rats.
I am willing to pay someone if they would be willing to do this. I currently reside in the Verge Vendor region but would have no real problem having to travel if someone would be kind enough to give me a good education in this area.
Thanks
DJ

Many alliances have newbie wings, like NBSI's NBSI academy, that train newbies. From what I've been told, they're quite good... especially since such wings often mix with the actual alliance's fleets. - Proud member of the [23].

join ISS navy (im sure that u could fly with them and defend the ISS navy outposts from those nasty pirates) either that or just sit at a gate or go find some mining barges in low sec and blow em up that can be fun

Thx for the plug Dark.
Aye m8, NBSI Academy is all about teaching people the joy that is PVP, but you won't be starting off in that sexeh dominix of yours, baby steps m8, baby steps. You'll start off in a T1 frig learning how to tackle, fight, escape etc, then on to a cruiser, and finally a battleship if you stick around long enough
NBSIA fleets do often merge with NBSI fleets, hell what fleet can't use 5-15 extra tacklers right?
If you're interested shoot an eve mail to Rasta Farian in game, he can give you some more info.

Yeah, an RL friend of mine is in NBSI academy, and I've seen what they do--I'm surprised we don't have a FIX academy. And yes, Seleene, an MC Academy would be nice... - Proud member of the [23].

Edited by: Jenny Spitfire on 28/10/2005 10:56:04 Alternatively, you can try NOINT by reading my recruitment thread below. We use a different system i.e. a Buddy system. Almost everyone is somebody's buddy at NOINT
With the Buddy system, we tend to have the learning experience as easy as throwing you into the swimming pool. Of course, you wont get drowned because you have a ... Buddy! The advantage of the system is that you can learn faster and be more efficient at understanding somethings about PvPing. I do still fear of PvPing because I dont have much wallet depth but I am still learning.
So hopefully, we will get to hear from you soon and hope to provide you with hands-on experience and not some Eve-craft. ----------------

I think there are many useful PvP guides on the forum but no amount of Theory-Eve will ever beat hands-on experience. ----------------
