we all now the problem. You want a nice fleet battle and after 30-60 seconds everything is over because "big" ships like bs are destroyed. Its only target calling. Only a little bit tactic, 60 seconds fun, and 3 hours preparation.
It would be nice, if CCP will increase the hitpoints from every ship. Then we could use much more tatic elements from eve-online.
What do you think from this idea?

Hmm...so basically...if I get this right...no ship would ever get destroyed anymore?
An apoc with 60k armor? I don't think so matey. Perhaps it would make fleet battles last somewhat longer, but in smaller engagements, it would be impossible to kill anyone before the blob (or whatever) arrives.
I say no.

Sure. You mean RMR. But ccp will only increase with a factor of 0,25 and not with the factor of 10. Only passive module could increase a little bit more. But thats not enough.

Well it is enough, because as much as people would like it to be, Fleet combat is not the norm. 1v1 or 5v2 or 5v5 is. And in that situation, even focused fire doesn't take down a BS instantly.
And fleet/leadership modules can increase the life by a lot if used well.

And the 25% increase isn't making as as it's not needed, by the latest indications.
I can translate what you're saying though, Marvel Master - "BS supreme".

this would be hilarious when translated over to capital ships... Titan with 400 million HP(the event one had 40million)? and a dreadnought with 1million?

I perosnally wouldn't argue heavily against his opinion that 125% is low. Indeed something more in the 200% - 400% range might be appealing. Of course this is refering to a % switch to, not increase as in 200% = 2x current amount not + 200% or 3x the current amount.
EDIT: And in addition what would be wrong with a situation where 2 BS with 2 frigate and a cruiser escort meet up with a likewise small fleet of same design. You might actually see some dance as ships try to keep optimal, frigates trying to move into slow battleship enemy so theirs can maintain positional advantage because location would be needed for longer then a few volleys.
Tactical one might or might not say.

Shield hardeners, resistance modules, there are things out there to help you live longer... nothing needs to be changed but your set-up...

lol if you increased the hp 10x I wouldnt even bother with a shield booster anymore... your passive recharge would probably be higher lol.

It just seems like you're sore someone blew you up cause they knew how to set up their ship the right way.
Frankly, I'd be more in favor to WEAKEN ships. THAT's where the real tactics would come in - whether you're gonna sit it out and hope to win or attack more strategically, as well as work together with others when necessary.

IF FLEET BATTLES ARE SO BROKEN STOP BLOBBING!
solo pvp is hands down a million times better.
