What was the most annoying and tedious skill in EVE you had to learn?
For me there were several contenders (Tactical Logi Reconfiguration V, Advanced Drone Interfacing V...).
But the winner is by huge margin Jump Drive Calibration V ! |

None of them seemed very tedious. Click-drag into queue, click apply. Wait for bacon.
I find that without a good mob to provide one for them, most people would have no mentality at all. |

Jump Drive Operation - Skill at using Jump Drives. Each skill level reduces the capacitor need of initiating a jump by 5%.
Its a prerequisite to train to 5 for all the other jump skills and just adds time to the over all skill train length.
IMO there is no point to this skill as every cap/blops pilot has this trained to 5 and doesn't add anything to the game, even more so with the up coming expansion. |

When i first started playing i looked at skills that took 7 days and was frustrated. I wanted my bacon immediately.
Nowadays a 2-3 week skill is just part of doing business. But tbh, I think anything that takes 1-2 months can be soul crushing for only 1 reason.
It would be nice say - Torpedo Specialization to 5, Large Auto-cannon to 5 which takes about a month would give a bigger bonus, say 4-5% instead of the 2% increase. It makes training those Rank 8 and above skills a tad more rewarding.
But it's all part of the game. |

Agreed, CCP should modify the description to include " This is possibly the most useless skill you could possibly train and by clicking add to queue will begin a training cycle that has as much use as a condom machine in the Vatican" Scammers are currently selling killrights on this toon for up to 5mil, if you have paid for this service demand your money back at once.
Killing me should be for free. |

"Tactical Logistics Reconfiguration V", by far.
Even though I'm currently mapped for Int/Mem, I can't bother to train it. I rather train for another PI planet, that's how bad it is.
I didn't find "Jump Drive Calibration V" that bad, because it's actually useful/required in many situations. |

All of the learning skills to level 5. The refund was nice though!
The tedium of training skills is gone for me now. I have everything I wan't or need and pretty much just train whatever random skill I feel like adding on at the time for the next month or two. When the skill completes I get the notification in Aura and think "Oh God...I have to log into EVE sometime this week and set my next train." Bounties for all! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2279821#post2279821 |
