Update to latest version if you haven't done so. If you get such errors with 2.21.1 then some more info would be useful like which modules give you this error, when fitted on which ship, overloaded or not, with or without charges.

To be safe, I completely deleted and then reinstalled EFT, re-imported my characters and recreated my fit. I still show the numbers above for my Kronos' falloff values.

A bug report which I probably should have posted ages ago but better now than never I guess.
Probe strength calculation in show charge info is incorrect when using probe launchers that have probe strength bonus and rangefinding arrays together. It seems that EFT calculates it with the launcher not being stacking penalized but in reality it is penalized with rangefinding arrays. |

I had the same issue, are you checking the tooltip that pops up when you hover your mouse over the activation button? Or are you actually checking the 'Show Info' window?
The tooltip appears to amalgamate the Optimal + 1 Falloff into the "Falloff range within XXX" as Gripen suggested as a solution to my own numbers disparity.

Make sure you are using latest EFT version and, as suggested earlier, not reading your falloff from module tooltip. Post your fit and reported falloff values from EVE and EFT if you have this problem anyways. |

I've been using EFT for some time. Not had any issues with it, until now. Part of this is due to having to complete a fresh install of Windows 7.
1. Where are ship fits stored? Not the xml file imported to eve, that I can find. It seems I am missing many fits that were built.
2. Having problems copy/paste of fits that did previously work. It just locks up the program for a bit, then if it does import it the fits are empty. Specifically this was tried with stealth bomber, and stabber fits. I gave up after that. This has been attempted on both PC that was fresh install of windows, and the laptop.
Any help you provide would be appreciated.

Probably I've broke something with recent internal changes but so far I was unable to reproduce this issue or find anything wrong. Can you check few more fits to find out if it is any setup import attempt gives you such error or maybe it is exclusive for the few you tried before (and in such case post one of those setups here). The error message appears before or after you are presented an empty setup window? Also, do you have "Selected Item Info" window opened when you get an error and if you are, does closing it make issue go away?

Hello Gripen,
I don't know what is going on. I'd rather not post the fit. Regardless it gets even stranger. Let me answer what I can from previous attempts. I will tray a few more fits as well.
The error appeared after a long "program not responding". No window opened at all. I had to go to the ship browser and it shows a fit, but upon opening it was empty of any modules.
I had the selected item window open.
Today, I closed the selected item window as suggested. The fits import, but missing items. Strangely, items like Damage Control II appeared in one fit, but not in another.
Just tried importing this with selected open or not. I get the error after a long Not Responding. It's now happened wtih two other Wolf fits as well.

Hey Gripen,
Something not working for me. I've formatted fits in text as ...
[Ship, name] low module low module ... ...
mid module ... ... ...
high module, ammo type (tried without ammo as well) ... ...
And it just does nothing when I copy and paste. What am I missing here?

Gripen,
I am using Windows 7 and copy / paste was from a PDF document using Adobe. Have had no previous issues. I did try to copy into notebook and then transfer, but no luck with that either. I tried using Word and typed the fit out as well. No luck.
on curiosity, I visited a wikki page E-uni and the copy and paste of their fits worked just fine. Don't know what that means to any of this.

Just downloaded and created an API with full acces to everything, but every time I try to import I get the message "Provided API Key does not allow to query skill information. Use another key or log in with a link on the window below and grant access to character sheet for key."
I had originally had the API set up for just the skills from my character sheet, but when I got that message I made everything available, and to no avail. :( I've changed my verification code and also tried to use it without an expiration date and with an expiration date. Nothing is working. |

Information warfare and Skirmish bonuses are not calculating correctly on latest version.
There could be more that I don't know of, but so far:
Target painter strength is not being calculated correctly showing 81+% or rapier with t2 rigs when it should be just under 75%.
Sig radius is also showing much smaller then it should be tornado goes from 195 sig to 107 when it should be 137 or so.
Not complaining btw, great tool and thanks for making it. Just trying to help sort out bugs. |

Thanks for a great program and for keeping it up to date +1
Feedback about the capacitor: There is a discrepancy between the capacitor stability between the EVE fitting window and the EFT predictions, where EFT appears to be more generous. But all the -GJ values for module activation are spot on, and the +GJ from regeneration looks good too. So the differance must be in the equation that predicts the capacitor recharge. Dusty puppy who first cracked the equation believed "Cap recharge time"/Tau to be 4.8 (http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=116993) , which I suspect is the value that EFT uses. Seamus Donahue of E-UNI has looked at Tau as well and he believes that it should be 5.0 instead (http://forum.eveuniversity.org/viewtopic.php?f=222&t=30652). One thing of note is that Seamus measurements puts the capacitor peak recharge at 25%, while EFT appears to have it closer to 30%, I don't know if this is a result of the differance in Tau or if it comes from something else. Seamus Tau value could be worth testing and comparing against the EVE fitting window (with a fit that is borderline stable, a little bit above +0 GJ) to see if a better correlation can be achieved. I would have liked to provide a good test-fit for this, but skills and implants are too important, so each character needs a fit tailored for him or her specifically.

I can't access my builds in eft, nor can i add modules to a new one because THEY AREN'T THERE. The left side of EFT is completely grey. I already tried a re-install of eft.
