Sorry if this has been asked before or if I just failed to find it on my own.
Can you add your own MP3s to the ingame player?
If so how do you go about it?
Thanks for any help :)

It can be done, but its far more trouble than its worth. Just use winamp.

It can be done, but don't. It's possibly a breach of the EULA.
Just use winamp.

I wish they would just change the music player such that it plays all files in an 'eve music' directory, so if you want your own stuff you can put it in there.
(or if youre really wierd you could listen to the eve music outside of the game without having to hax it) _________________ [SAK] And Proud Of It! -- aka Cpt Bogus Is that my torped sig cloaking your base?

*feels a lock coming on*
They have stated this is against the EULA and discussion about how to do it will get the thread locked and a warning for the discussers.

The offcial word on this is that there is no offcial word.
Technically it's a violation of the EULA, so mods will probably ubermod this topic soon...

It is against EULA to add your own MP3 files? Why is this? Not like you are selling the game with different music claiming your own, just personalizing it really.
Anyway, after about a month I got tired of the Eve soundtrack, so now I just put on WinAmp (various stations/genres) and use that as my music. Good stuff. ------------- Awaiting Destiny

it is against the EULA to modify any game files or client operations. This includes putting your own MP3s into the game. I suggest you get Winamp version 5 and try using global hotkeys if you want to listen to your own music and still have control over it when in fullscreen.
