I don't care if it is expansive or not, but keep in mind, if you can make the same results with lower costs that would be grate :+P I am requesting something that can solo in C3 the radar sites and would need two or more to take the combat sites. A friend of mine is tanking with 800+ legion and I have watched him solo them radar sites with it. I can fly Gallente/Caldari. So Rattlesnake has been on my mind for a long time now, but I just can't get it past 300 dps omni tank on EveHQ with all lvl 5 skills. I can't use t2 Gallente guns but if you find any fits that require them then I don't mind training for 'em :+P.
So basically something that can tank 800+, would love to get it up to 1k tank (omni), and needs to be able to kill them Battleships in C3.
Oooh, and one more thing. Cap-stable. If not, make it last long. They neut in C3's. If it lasts 2min, I'd be out of cap as soon as they'd start neuting.
Remember. Rattlesnake Primary 1. Caldari Primary 2. Gallente ships if you got nothing else. Be cabable of soloing Radar-Sites in C3. Don't mind warping out every now and then, just don't make me warp out every half a min.

There are plenty of fits around if you look through the pages. Many people will tell you to go the t3 route but I have always used this
Maelstrom
Requires cap boosters but never seen that much of a problem tbh.

There are a hundred Tengu fits on battleclinic and all but the worst/lowly skilled should be able to solo a C3. Ignore the tank eft settings you should be able to speedtank most of the Damage from the Battleships but at least try to tank for 2/3 of the damage just in case. |

Srsly. Thanks. Didn't know. Everyone just told me that I had to tank 800+. I will try sum' of 'em on SISI. I just didn't find any 800+ omni tank tengu on google nor battleclinic.
I will report my findings when I have finished testing something on SISI. Might take sum' while though. Need to find a C3 hole in there, might take sum' time. |

You can't solo them, but a great way to use Rattlesnakes is to fill the high slots with cap transfer arrays and remote shield reps (except for 1 or 2 drone link augs) and use drones for damage. In other words, spider-tanking. |

Now I have to try solo'ing C3 sites in my PVE Rattler because I find it nearly impossible to believe that it can't do it. If you actively manage your Sentry drones they should survive quite nicely. A lot of people dont like it because its very pricey.. fact is if you manager your WH and pay attention you can minimize your risk to a decent level. Then its just a matter of making enough that if you do lose it, you made the isk back first ;)
also like I said I modified my fit some I put in I believe a corpum C shield booster instead of the whatever he had and it was a lot cheaper not to mention not sure the one in the fit actually fits....
take that basic fit and play around in EFT till you get it where it does what you need for the c3 (like 800 defense) and get the price down. |

What a complete and utter waste though. Completely overtanked (and as a result under DPS'd) for a C3. Hell it is a waste and overkill for C4's |

There's no drone management, except for using different drones for different range/transversial. With a spider-tank setup, the problem with drone aggro is in my experience close to non-existing. |

Are you seriously trying to suggest C3 anoms cannot be run solo? |

If you're going to use a Rattler I strongly suggest running a cap booster setup, a cap booster Rattler can easily tank C3s while dishing out 1k dps with a not too expensive fit. If you want cap stable use a Tengu. |

Ive seen a setup that can solo c5 combat anoms. C3 and c4 sites can be solo'd. Ive attempted with a tengu and a sleipnir c4 solo, but that is a lil hairy being they use heavy cap warfare. C3 sites can easily be solo'd if you have what you need. tank, cap, and dps. |

You can't have all of these things in one. You an have enormous tank but it can be neuted and dps will be just decent. If you go for dps, you will risk tank/cap stability. I'm no C5 vet, not at all but i'm pretty sure 1 single subcap will be massacred there, every damn time.
Another thing... you can solo C3s in Drake. But its far from optimal thing.. ADVENTURERS Corp. | To explore & fight! | https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2906996 |

Nope, I'm saying that spider-repping Rattlesnakes can't. |

Fits like this make me angry! They lack any imagination and do a **** poor job for the price tag. Do not fly this expensive pile of ****!
Hint for reasonable solo tengu fits: - 5 launchers make your cap happy - Large Pith SBs are cheap ~200mil - 3 dmg mods (or more) - 4 tank mods will do (EM, Invul, SBA, SB) - 100nm AB (~200mil) will mitigate most incoming DPS. This is serioulsy OP and if you fly right you rarely ever need to run your SB at all even in c4s. - you will soon notice, you donGÇÖt need all these cap rigs and tank mods and can replace it with something useful, e.g. rigs that help with applying dps.

A fit like that is utter **** as well. You don't need a large SB nor 100mn AB to solo C3 sites. And you can do it fine with a 6 launcher setup. Neuting in a C3 is a joke unless you like sitting still. It's very easy to run the site effectively while staying outside of neut range while also keeping sleepers in a nice compact space for easier salvaging later. |

The only C3 site with 6 webbing sleepers at the same time is the last wave of an Outpost Frontier stronghold. And if you fly it to be in range of all 6 webs at the time the wave spawns you are doing it wrong. Otherwise will have at least half of the webbing frigs dead before they are in web range and have no issues. And that's with a 10mn AB (100mn ab fit is a waste) |
