A search for cargohold bug found only the cargo opening and closing, so the cargohold of a ship does not reflect the ships modules, until the fitting screen is open. ex, : try to put 20 k m3 into a bestower and you cant until you make that ship active and open the fitting screen.
Also, do something about the lag, I have typed 5 words before they show up and appear in the window, very annoying, |

The ships modules do not take effect until a pilot has boarded the ship, this is by design.
If you are suffering lag I can only recommend you check this Wiki thread on finding the cause of this. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Network_Guide#Lag

That "design" doesn't make any sense, the modification is to the ship, not the pilot. If i put a tool box on my pick up, i can still put stuff in the box, without having to get in the truck...
and the lag, is server side, ever since we got turret animation, which does nothing for improving gameplay, it just add server load, just like the video at start up. The used to start in a few seconds, now it takes a few minutes, and then you have to clear cache every time you start, and you crash every time they put up an advertisement on the start up screen.
So, i suggest, loose the video, loose the turrent animation, make eve servers work less, improve gameplay, cause less crashes, just a thought... |

What retrofire is saying is that your skills are what makes those modules even possible to fit on the ship, so naturally their bonuses won't apply to the ship while you're not sitting in it. |

Now the lag experienced with the login screen video is HORRIBLE. While the login screen is up and I have eve minimized it taxes my computer so hard my mouse actually stutters and really I can't do anything until I go ahead and log in. |

You may want to try one of these things:
1. See if you are running EvE in windows 7 but with the Eve shortcut in XP compatibility, with Eve voice chat enabled. If so then disable the compatibility and run as pure win7 2. disable EvE voice
Any luck ? |

I've had eve voice disabled for over a year and I'm still running XP x64, so I'm not sure if that's the problem or not. Thanks for the reply though. |

This has always been like this and is nothing new, your skills and the mods do not reflect the changes until you board. How is this a new issue? |
