This feature is already in EvE, it's called missions.

what we need are a) more complexes but with b) bigger loot tables so the uber drops dont always happen that will stop the farming if those using them are not 100% certain of getting the hgih end ship BPCs every time they do them. b) join a pirate gang who can go in and scare away these characters or make them log then do the plex youreselfs
But i think the more numerous but less certain complex thing is the best idea make those BPC drops mroe random but add more pelxes to more systems.
That way they become more like missions and everyone can do em. COSMOS agents are going to spread to all regions in this patch or soon i thinka nd therefore will become another valid option.
Red moon rising is going to change a lot of things (id like to see new NPC factions or even dual spawns in some regions ie 2 blood and 2 sansha spawns in the same belt)

well instancing and missions are 2 very different thing - but this isnt a bad idea

Here is my idea:
Add agents that give out gate keys to activate the warp in gates for 1 of 10 complex areas. You do the 1 of 10 complex and at the final stage of the complex you get a no trade, can only have one at a time, key to the next complex number (meaning you will get a key to 2 of 10 once you finish 1 of 10). This goes on until you finally end up with the a key to a 10 of 10 complex which can be used once. Then the cycle repeats itself.
- These complex areas that you activate will be just like deadspace missions. Meaning someone can find you, but they will have to put forth effort to do so.
- You lose the entrance key once you enter the complex and get the next number complex key in the final stage of the complex. Meaning no warp outs or you will lose your work.
- Complex loot should stay just like it is.

Thanks for all your great thoughts on this guys! Im sure ccp will take it from here and do what they feel works out best - but if you all have any further ideas, be sure to post them here.. I have a hunch the actual new system will involve hacking mods and archeology in some way and that deadspaces upto now were so easily accessable just to get us hooked on them.
