Ive been looking into the invention process and how to get a Tech 2 BPC. I see the skill requirement needed to do the invention itself, but im not able to find where it shows what my skills need to be to actually manufacturer the tech 2 item.
Warp Disruptor II for instance. The tech 1 BPO shows skills required, but not what skills are required to manufacture the tech II version. Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.-á Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!! |

... because you don't manufacture a T2 item from a T1 BPO...
(Check out a T2 BPC/BPO show info, and you'll find the requirements.) This is EVE - Everybody Versus Everybody.

Look right above the material requirements section on the T2 BPC for the skills required section. "Blow it all on Quafe and strippers." --- Sorlac |

Find one on Contracts and just view it. What item are you looking for, specifically? "Blow it all on Quafe and strippers." --- Sorlac |

The build requirements for the T2 blueprints are in the exact same location as they are for any blueprint. Specifically, the T2 Warp Disruptor has build requirements of: x Electronic Engr 1 x Graviton Physics 1 x Industry 5
Just look up any blueprint in Contracts and view it to see what skill reqs there are to build it. "Blow it all on Quafe and strippers." --- Sorlac |

Since CCP removed T2 BPO's from the market there is no way to see what the skill requirements to manufacture a T2 item are, or what the material requirements are prior to inventing the item unless you search in contracts (and hope to get lucky) or use an external 3rd party website like http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/.
And yes it is silly and a bit ridiculous to not be able to view this data before hand (say in the inventions tab like how the manufacturing tab has a creates itemname with a info button you can click to view said item) to determine if you can even manufacture the item you would want to invent, and chances are we wont see a change it support this feature for a very long time.
Really the best thing to do is use Chruker, search for the blueprint and view the information there. You can also use Isk per hour which will also have data on if it is profitable to manufacture the item. |

Or use my blueprint calculator. Skills needed to make something are shown on that thing.
The other option is to type the name (or partial) into a chat/other text window, right click it, select autolink->item type, then right click on the blueprint in the selection window that will come up.
Skills are on the manufacturing tab, on the Bill of Materials Tab. Steve Ronuken for CSM 9!-á I'm starting early :) Handy tools and an SDE conversion Twitter: @fuzzysteve on Twitter |
