Better Gallente
I wanted the Naru, but I understand the "not Gallente" looking more Jovian thing.
The Phalanx is ok looking and I guess would work as a T3 variant of an existing BC, the Myrmidon. But to rounded for Gallente imo.
Not crazy about the Aquilon.
The Megalodon (though it badly needs a different name) is something I could get behind. Especially since these T3 BC are supposed to play host to BS size guns and the Large Hybrid Blaster/Rails. That hull has some similarities with the Megathron in profile. I think that they would complement each other nicely dropping out of warp onto a target.
The Gatekeeper would be pretty cool as well |

Or 5 T2 Heavies :p
Interestingly, the Amarr "Abolition" gets a larger drone bay than does the Gallente skill sheet (no idea whether those stats will really be used though given that they reference BS and not BC classes). Though it is also interesting that the cargohold on the Gal ship is as large as it is. Makes for an awful lot of room for large (size 400+) Cap Charges. |

Notice how we were told that the Gallante one would not be the Naru, but nothing was said about the Mentor? Methinks I know what the Amarrian ship is going to be. |

I'm not seeing the Gallente influence in the Atreus. To me it looks more like a cross between the Calnus from Star Ocean and the Normandy from Mass Effect.
The Endymion lolls like a solid ship to me, though I get a cruiser-like feel from it more than BC or BS. Depending on the role, I'd fly it.
The Aquilon seems to me to be the most in line with Gallente hull design. The issue for me is where would large turrets fit given the size of the ship. Of the ones I've seen, this is probably the one I'd most like to see in-game.
Of these four, the Megalodon seems to have surface area adequate for large turret hardpoints. However, the design looks more like a BS to me and the general layout is quite similar to the Megathron. Hope CCP skips this one. |

Hasn't anyone read comments from people who've seen the new ship? It won't be the Aquilon. It's been described as beautiful and awesome looking -- which the Aquilon clearly isn't. That's not to say that the Aquilon isn't well modelled and very Gallente - it is. But it's certainly not fitting the description.
It's probably going to be the Megalodon posted early in the thread. |

The Endymion looks too much like a Proteus but is Gallente looking. I can't look at the Aquilon concept art without thinking "Elephant Man", I've said it already on Twitter, but I'm voicing it here too... I honestly hope to God it's not that one. |

Elephant Man Well, most Gallente ships are a face only a mother could love. It looks like a cross of a Myrm and a Brutix with a Vextor aft to me.
I'm hoping for an Endymion or Aqulion, the Megalodon is too big for a BC hull and the Naru-Kami doesn't even fit Gallente (nor any race) |

well, it won the other competition and its the *only* good looking amarr entry in either one. I'd consider it a shoe-in, as it fits with EVE as well. |

I resemble that remark. To kill the enemy and break their toys!
