Quote:Clear glasses added to the character creator because capsuleers of steel need their disguises.
There is an old cartoon show called superman, and they just made a movie about it.
See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman:_The_Man_of_Steel
He is the man of steel, his disguise alter-ego is Roger Kent Who wears big glasses.
Mild Mannered Reporter is actually a alien from the moon of krypton.
They call him the "man of steel" because he is bulletproof.

You know, it kind of ruins it when you have to explain it.... To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

lol sorry I got it confused with the family guy alien who did roger kent =)
The Alien's name is roger so I guess they swapped the first name for comedic effect. |

Are they going to let Amarr wear glasses now? Apparently it's against their religion, they can only wear hoods. |

"capsuleers" fly in capsules that look like balls. BALLS OF STEEL.
So clearly it's not a superman joke. you are bad and you should feel bad. You may gain the knowledge, but you will lose your belief, with all its mystery and comfort. If there was proof, absolute and certain, there is an afterlife, why not quit this life, and be done with it? Ponder about these things all your life, and you're a philosopher. Compress these ponderings into a couple of pages, and you'll go mad. |

Those are not common glasses, those are ultra sophisticated VD glasses with chips plugged in with astronomic number of intelligent nanites providing you all the information you need whenever you blink, the future is now.
