I'm fairly sure I know the answer to my question, but I need to double check:
If there' s POS in a system that has no stations at all, the only way to do reseach on a BPO there is to the the BPO to the station, drop it off at the lab and start the research job? And the issue there is that any one in the corp can snag the BPO.
So the only way to keep the BPO secure is to have a corp office on a station in the same solar system as the POS and have the Scientific Networking skill trained, that way the BPO can be research at the POS whilst still being at the station? |

Basically yes. Also, a POS in a system without station is more likely to be bashed if there are laboratories, since the BPO are there. More of a loot Pinata I sell drones and drones accessories. |

One minor adjustment.
The BPOs cannot be stolen by anyone in corp - just anyone in corp that you give access to the POS and corp hangars. |

And a follow on question: Is there some sort of corp log as to who is depositing and taking things out of the POS? I.e. if someone with the correct access levels was to abscond with a BPO, would there be a record of who took it and when? |

Use a different corp hanger for each researcher.
The only ones who can touch other peoples stuff is the CEO/Directors. |

This, but note that if they place their own BPOs in there, a person with take access will need to take and distribute the BPOs when they want them back. Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012. |

No, logs are only available in the audit log containers, but while blueprints are in those, they can't be used.
