I am trying to move assets from one pos to another. both "warp to ( fleet ) member" and "warp to tower ( saved spot )" leave my ship 50km away from the target. Was the warping mechanism changed ? |

You simply set your default warp to distance at 50 km. You should reset it to 0 km. -áMy (mostly boring) Youtube channel. |

then prolly the bk isnt right.
You made the bk at the point where you deployed the pos or when you anchored/onlined it? |

yes both the bookmarks are the same we have used for months.
if anything, I think it is related to the fact that one of the pos belongs to our corp while we have to use a password to get into the other one. The password is set ( we can enter the field by approaching from 50km away ) but for some reason it does not warp to zero into that field, nor when coming from inside that field into the field of our own pos. weird. we have done this for a long time and suddenly it does not work anymore. |

And when you warp to a fleet member who is inside the pos? |

Right-click the warp to icon on overview and set default distance. I have seen BM's changed too at times though when it comes to POS'es. Sometimes it's not the BM but rather that POS that for some reason moved a bit.

same thing ( warping to 50 )

default distance is zero.
checking more situations, when we warp from space to any of the poses it goes to zero. just when we warp from inside that other shield it stops at 50.
Thank you all for suggestions and for patience. Probably something missed by ccp at their past patch on such a very particular situation ( warping between shields with different passwords ). I have to log now, so I have made a support ticket and ill see what they say. |

Warp to a planet, enter new password then warp to pos, password needs to be entered before warping, changing it while you are in a passworded poss doesnt work, changing while warping lands you off the pos. |

delete the bookmark and create a new one inside the pos. You may gain the knowledge, but you will lose your belief, with all its mystery and comfort. If there was proof, absolute and certain, there is an afterlife, why not quit this life, and be done with it? Ponder about these things all your life, and you're a philosopher. Compress these ponderings into a couple of pages, and you'll go mad. |

we were attacking a tower yesterday , and each and everytime we warped / warped squad to either a bookmark or a fleetmember, we landed with an offset of 40-50km.
of course i checked that my default warp distance is 0, and it is, so definitely something is wrong (btw, my whole fleet encountered the issue, 15 ppl).
it also happen with the "warp to", i warped to 50 from a corpmember, he didn't moved during process (it's my alt) and i landed at 90 km from him, so here, no "wrong setting" involved.
and since CCP deactivated the bug reports, i think this will last forever |

I have had this happen a few times, when warping a fleet all but 1 (the person starting the warp) end up 50-60km away from everyone else. Very annoying at times, and ccp states they dont have logs showing anything wrong lol. |

You probably changed the warp distance using the new radial menu, it's easy to do by mistake and not notice as all you have to do is drag your mouse. |

Not quite, this was prior to the patch that introduced the radial menus, but thanks for your invaluable insight! |
