Good evening. When missiles hit ships, they bounce and whip them around. This looks entirely out of place for capital ships and needs to get fixed as it destroys a lot of possible atmosphere.
This can be seen in the 28MB 1 minute Caldari Titan Video captured by Loxyrider Caldari Titan bouncing
Another addition to improve the atmosphere is that missiles *graphically* explode on the surface of ships and objects or there, where the collision radius for the specific ships begin. Currently missiles dive through the model and explode in the middle of ships, this can be seen in the video too, it just looks unsatisfying and ugly.
Last but not least, the third request would be that missiles leave the ship straight to the front for 1 kilometer, just like they did before. It just not fits if the missiles come out of a ships backside or the flank and adds nothing to balance.
Currently these 3 points make the immersion into the Eve universe harder and appear like crude edges on a diamond, that needs to get thoroughly grinded and softened.
What is the PR dev's view at this? Would you mention this in a meeting?

Totally agreed.
The bouncing looks unrealistic (not that this game is realistic), and because missles hit in the center of ships the new bigger ships completely hide the missile explosion

if possible they need to slow down the rate at which capitol ships bounce from a hit by missiles, that way it will show their true mass. ---------------------------------------------

why should any spaceship "bounce" from a missile inpact? doesnt make any sense.... and show the missile bays on the ships pls... would really add alot of atmosphere

How about Newton's third law of motion? That states that (in lay terms) every action has an equal and opposite reactin - so spaceships should bounce if they're hit by a missile. Of course, force is dependant on Mass, and as Titans have a lot of mass, they shouldnt move about like someone having a fit. ---:::---

There was long thread about that in general forum, but it basically boils down to:
First law of entertainment: if it looks bad, no one cares if it's accurate.
capital ships going through seizures whenever shot at look bad. make that BAD, actually... it's even sillier than battleships bouncing on the cargo containers :/
