While I never really interacted directly with him, I have some friends who've hung out with Seriphyn. I hear all sorts of things about him: infuriating to some, yes, but I've heard he's pretty cool at times and in the right setting. I never knew of his troubles though...
Get better ASAP, Seri. There are more people worried for your well-being than you might think. I am also a human, straggling between the present world... and our future. I am a regulator, a coordinator, one who is meant to guide the way. |

Well that sucks. It's not like Seriphyn was my best friend or anything, but the guy always gave me the impression that he was trying his best to do right by the people he cared about, even if he sometimes had strange ways of showing it. I'd offer help, but I'm an engineer, not a doctor, so I'm not sure what I could offer in this circumstance - although if you can think of something, do tell me.
One small solace we can take from this tragedy is that a lot of people are showing their true colours. Most of these colours are some shade from the pallette of "actually a pretty good person after all" or the spectrum of "deeply sociopathic." Mane 614

Lai Dai Research Biomedical and Cybernetic is honoured to have Mr. Inhonores as a guest during his period of convalescence. We will do everything within our ability to return him to the Cluster, and are humbled by his fathers' trust in our abilities. I myself will be devoting most of my attention to his care. Thank you all for your kind words and generous spirit. It is our great hope that he will recover his full faculty as soon as we can assist him in doing so. |

As per Scherezad's notification, Seriphyn Inhonores has successfully been transferred from the city of Caerleon to LDRBC in Kakakela. I am extremely grateful to Scherezad and Lai Dai for their efforts, and laud the continuing bonds between our two organizations.
There has been at least one person interested in visiting times for well-wishers; if there is further interest, we will see about opening this possibility. |

We are very pleased to report to the IGS that General (ret.) Inhonores has returned to delta-level consciousness. While we have yet to discern if any long-term damage has been sustained by the Pilot, we have at this time concluded a successful centromedial augmentation operation and are confident that he will regain consciousness. We are, likewise, confident that we will be able to reimplant his Capsule implants, allowing him to return to full capability as previous.
We naturally cannot disclose the nature of the procedures performed on Mr Inhonores, but are pleased to announce to the IGS that we were able to use a minimal number of therapeutic devices, the majority of which are temporary in nature. However, they will be sufficient in preventing a relapse of the condition.
Any inquiries or requests for a consultation may be directed to Lai Dai Research Biomedical and Cybernetic, Office of Registration, Kakakela VI Moon 5 LDCF, Research Annex District 1. |

From what little I know of these things, the answers to your questions will be difficult to obtain through conventional methods until they attempt to fully reverse the induced coma state.
In the absence of implants which might have made it possible to interact within the confines of a virtual tank interface it seems that a wait-and-see approach will be the order of the day. O. Rundle The Synenose Accord Not indicative of corporate policy unless otherwise stated. |

Basic cognition has been restored, and there appears to be surprisingly little impairment or memory loss. We have yet to test motor functions but can confirm basic voluntary abilities. We are in the process of confirming his levle of functionality, and will be reimplementing the Capsule interface after that point.

You should petition to be allowed to study it, Synthia. After all, Seriphyn never got much mileage out of it - you could fit him with a drone AI programmed to say "Of course that was invented in the Federation..." and "The concept of the Federation as a whole is illusory, you have to think in terms of it's member states..." and who'd know the difference? |

Is there a particular reason for your juvenile vitriol, Colonel Tuulinen? I would think a man of the State would not only show some prudence in public but also some small manner of respect for the friends and allies who have worked so hard up until this point, especially after an emotionally turbulent month for all those intimately involved. I'm sure the both of us can agree that the time you spend on this GalNet thread is a waste of energy for all involved.
Speaking of Colonel Tuulinen's friends and allies, Elusenia is indebted to both Scherezad and LDRBC for their crucial help in bringing about our most valued benefactor. While it appears the exhausting work of Scherezad is not appreciated by all, let it be known that all Elusenians are deeply thankful. We will look towards an appropriate reward for Lai Dai Research Biomedical and Cybernetic in due course. |

Yes, there is. I believe he's referred to as Seriphyn Inhonores - all my vitriol was earned by the man and, as I promised, once I knew he was going to make a full recovery it was back to business as usual.
As for the second half of your statement, I have already indicated to my kirjuun involved that I regarded their efforts as a misuse of resources but, unlike you, I tend to view how they choose to spend their personal time as being their business entirely. How hypocritical would it be for me to act concerned over the recovery of a man I would happily send back to hospital?
Still, perhaps his brush with death will teach him some restrain and maturity? We'll see - but I won't hold my breath. |

Colonel Tuulinen, I am still perplexed as to why you insist on making your feelings known in such a stubborn and disruptive manner. Miss Scherezad is attempting to use this GalNet thread for updating well-wishers as to Seriphyn Inhonores's status. If you wish to derail this thread into an inter-personal soap opera based on the sort of passions you might see in a secondary school, that is your prerogative, but likewise I reserve the right as an individual to attempt to cajole you in hopefully directing your energies towards something more productive. I am sure there are plentiful pastimes to engage in as a capsuleer employed in a professional mercenary force, pastimes far more engaging than the petulant stamping of one's feet before a clusterwide forum in declaring just how much a hospitalized single father of one is disliked.
Myself, Elusenia, and the cluster are already aware of your feelings. |
