Edited by: ****take on 08/12/2005 19:15:56 I am not trying to be a pain in the ass, I know you are your boys are busy working very hard on RMR, but some of us out here would like to know "when".
I am hearing many different stories from players on the test server, some saying December 12th is the day, others saying "no way is it even close to being ready".
Could you please give us a little info? Some of us need many days to get things ready prior to this patch.
Thanks in advance for whatever you can tell us!
(other players interested in this information please respond so we can keep this on top and hopefully get a response)

The manufacturing / research facilities for POSes werent in as of this morning.. so unless they actually push them. The titan/mothership BPOs will be the most expensive useless pieces of junk in the history of EVE :P

I bet there's an alliance or two that will buy it regardless The Mothership looks very interesting though, I think that will be quite popular.

Because its not on the market it doesnt mean that it doesnt exist and is not being tested.
Its just seems strange to me that sisi isnt a place for the normal users to test the new stuff using a current example the new ships and tech 2 ammo. |

Patch Notes are undergoing final review. There were a lot of items in the change lists that needed to be sorted, categorized, added into the notes and HTML'ed. I hope to have them available tomorrow afternoon.
RMR deployment, we are still working on QA. We have a little ways to go yet. Expect a deployment announcement tomorrow.

Id find it strange that they would release the biggest change to R&D and mfring in a LONG time and not let players stress test the system in case something goes wrong. I'd HATE to be the first person to find out that the mfring array just ate the whole titans worth of components and didnt work... on the other side... how are you supposed to transport the components required to the POS without a freighter....

Unless I'm mistaken, this is indeed open for testing now on Sisi. There are still some bugs to be fleshed out, but it has been opened to the players to try out.

Afaik, next-gen production is in RMR, but reserach is in Kali.
You can test the production on SISI, though i mean Test in the most technical of sense as it plain doesent work right now. ------------- Where are the named 800mm Plates and Mega Ions, CCP?

i believe the 12th story is a bastardization of the 13th story. Oveur to an alt of mine (was shipping some stuff when i was about 20jumps away) on jita local that he would give a tentative date of the 13th of dec, but that was subject to change

if its not on the 13th then surely it will be after christmas or they wont have the time to fix the bugs, unless the techies want treble time for working christmas day

Well to be honest, if the POS research/manufacturing stuff is in, it might as well be released on the 13th, EVEN if the ships and titans arnt completely balanced or bug-free, because then at least we all get some early time to research the bp's, collect all the materials, and wait for the construction time.... Patches and fixes will always follow, its just a matter of WHEN we are able to start the long journey torwards the finished constructed Titan.

Latest patch introduced some rather...um...large bugs, such as passive cap recharge not working at all (though the UI says it is), the shield status bar on your target not being visible, and the "reload all" button not working properly (it reloads weapons in sequence instead of all at once, now, though it worked fine last patch).
I'd expect, if they can't isolate the problems causing these quickly, that they'll have to delay deployment for a bit. This is probably why they haven't announced, while they try to get an ETA or an idea of how long these will take to fix. -Wrayeth
