Get a bloody PR guy, he might tell you that you should keep your customer informed. FFS this the second time you completly fail to inform your customer today. ty very much for that reboot ..... some of us were playing the game .... maybe we shouldn't have been ......
i am really getting annoyed -- The worst thing you can do when suggesting a solution to a problem is to provide alternatives, people end up arguing the alternatives instead of implementing the fix. |

bah i take it this is what happened and it wasnt just me crashing to desktop
i got a message of proxy not online or somthing. sounds less like a reboot, more like a server crash. -----------------------------------------------

those *%/(&%þ just pressed the reboot button, without announcing it ingame. I am really annoyed i was mining for the last 3 hours, put everything into can's bet those cans won't be there after reboot. If they aren't i better go to bed, else i might cancel my account without having sleept over it.
They should hire some company to do "Customer Relations" training ........ |

So I wasn't the only one to not get any message about the reboot.
I was fighting a 40k angel for the first time when it happened, I won't be very happy if I die because of this.

i had about 1mmillion isk worth of omber stored in a can
bad news is that about 6 people where all mining and pirates and just turned up
hopefully, they too have gone down with the server. question is, why no ingame instant message like those that warn you of downtime in 10 mins? -----------------------------------------------

I was online at the time and no, no pup-up message. I find that the news feed on the bulletin boards only refresh when I relogin to the game, so even though there was (or so I'm told) a message there I wouldn't have seen it in any case.

Yes I had 2 chars mining Yes I had 2 very full containers of omber/kernite Yes the drones were out Yes was in mid *battle* with at least 4 pirates Yes was taking damage
No I did not get any pop up message
Yes I came back intact, both chars (even if one char ended up in a safe spot) Yes my cans were as I left them Yes my drones were still there
BUT I noted that the omber/kernite roids were *disappearing* without giving up any ore. Went through quite a few roids before actually started to find some willing to give up ore.
