really? You said same in Castor about Exodus, but after Exodus has come i saw little better fps in warp, but not in batles. You said same in Exodus about RMR, but now it even worster when it comes to battle. I have 45 fps avg in space, but when it comes to combat it drops to 10-15. It's NOT fleet combat! It's just happens when i ratting! Damn!

This isn't affecting everyone, so I guess it is a time for a long thread in "Known Issues"
For what its worth I have an AMD64 3400+, GF6600GToc, 1gig ram, and I am having no problems so far (70+)
I am using Forceware 81.95 drivers. OS - winXP x64

Edited by: Noveron on 17/12/2005 11:15:49 I dont have much fps problems, my config:
Pentium 4 3.00Ghz 1 Gb RAM (PC2100) Gforce FX5900XT
I get around 40fps average in station and 60fps average in space. This is good for me.
anyways I would like to point out that people complaining may be right since I noticed some degree of delay and a bit stutter when doing a mission against a few rats (but I didnt measure framerate there sorry, will try latert)
My Graphic Settings are set to default, which are equal balance between quality and performance.
Hope this helps a bit..
And Eri, I know how frustrating it is when you expect something to work better but being whiny wont help much. Try to give the most data possible and report the problem like for instance, I have done.

If I drop my screen resolution to 800x600 I get about 100 fps
When i put it back at 1600x1200 it drops to about an average of 40 fps
If i put it on 2048*1536 with max settings and all the fluffy extras i get about 30 fps... (apart from when i try to move the camera )
Go figure ___________

Edited by: Verone on 17/12/2005 11:27:08 I just built a new system :
Intel P4 HT Extreme Edition (3.40 GHz) 2 Gig of DDR2 ATI Radeon x850 XT Platinum Connect 3d Edition (256)
no problems here... minimum i've seen is 90fps since the launch of RMR, and that was in a Deadspace area with one of those huge clouds swirling all over the place.
Edit, my speeeelnig ist crap.

I have
AMD 64 3500 2 BFG 7800 GT OC in SLi Config. Windows XP 2GB RAM
I only get around 50-55 FPS in station and outside i drop to like 18-25 fps - which sucks, and before the patch with just one 7800 i was getting around 60 outside of station.......

Intel P4 3.4G 1GB RAM Go6800 with 128MB RAM
..actually I suspect that graphics RAM is the issue. My machine used to tolerate two clients as long as they weren't both trying to render something like a station or asteroid belt. I could at least leave one docked while the other mined or fought. Now I can't even do that. As soon as one undocks I have to log the other off. -- (Battle hardened miner)

I suggest that CCP change the stat to "fpm" frames per minute.
Then they can draw a graph and say look fp*cough* hasnt got worse

Well a 9600XT is old mate.
I use a 9800XT and I get 70fps in space, around 40-50 in battles. It is your computer. Stop playing on hardware that was dated 2 years ago. -

Disable Xfire--its causing a major drop in FPS and is not compatible with RMR.

My fps is in the gutter, unplayable. Never looked pre RMR because I didnt have a problem. I've seen single digit fps regularly in space now. CPU usage is now at 99% all the time with an ever increasing memory usage(mem leak). I could run EQ2 and EVE at the same time preRMR. Now EVE itself it just hammering my system. I also have a gig of ram running a leadtek geforce 6800.

Yeah I used to get 40fps or 50 in space, like 60-70 in station. Now I get like 12-22 in space and station is worse.
RMR did something to my FPS, no idea what it was. I doubt it has anything to do with my hardware.

XFire is some sort of gaming chat, never heard of it until now, and I dont have it, all i know is my system should be getting damn near 100fps at the least. Wish a dev or someone higher up would let us know what they think it is and if it is fixable, as of now i can play, but kina sucks bc the whole reason i built this new comp was for eve and having that kind of frame rate is a little dissapointing lol.

My FPS is between 50%-75% lower than before patch. Max 50fps in station now, max 30 in space, and 4-15 during even light combat. The picture frequently hangs for a few seconds in between, too.

I'm (sort of) glad other peeps have same problems.
AMD3200+xp, 6600GT 128 AGP, 1Gb RAM, 1280x1024
I get 60 fps + in a station, but any action in space, even just looking at a few macroers in a Jita ice belt, and its 5-11 fps.
Can anyone shed some light? Someone told me the other daythey got better performance than that off a laptop . Is it the CPU? If so I will have to splash the cash...

Mine is running at the same FPS that it was going before RMR, about 18-24 FPS in space no problems. This is with a number of programs running in the background as well.
