I am assuming you are just starting and trying to get into your first ship. Aura will guide you though it, but sometimes if you miss something it can get confusing. Since I do not know exactly where you are in the process, let me point you to this excellent Video series by Seamus Donohue.
How to Survive EVE Online - Odyssey - 1. Introduction
Hang in there. The learning curve is really steep. Once you get past it, it is utterly amazing. |

Thanks.I got my ship finally just need to use the gate to go get my other item.
It certianly is quite the learning curve in controling your ship.I am so use to the wasd and mouse. The grahics still look great for 10 year old game although I am involed in another space game.
That video was really helpfull. Thanks need to watch more. |

I got all 3 tutorials done but the next one I am finding it not that easy as it is contract.
It would be nice if the tutorials were slightly easier much like other games I play. I would continue to play but but being FTP takes up considerable amount of time being P2P.I do play other rpgs ones I ma more dedicated to. Eve is an interesting game the graphics are still great for 10 year old game.
I cam here to try this as I ma a Star Trek Gamer yes STO and wanted to see the difference. I do like Eve space travel better than STO.
I think I have 1 more day remaining before I have to start paying which I can't at this time. It is great game but would be even better if it was FTP.I may not be able to play but I hope I can come back and talk about with you all.
Thanks for having me. |

The graphics look good for a ten-year-old game because the graphics and engine were overhauled over the last year or so, with some of the new ship models being as recent as six months old.
Regarding your general kind of problem (i.e. needing help fast on something specific), while asking in the new player forums is certainly an OPTION, you'll probably have better luck with a truly immediate response by finding the Rookie Help Channel. If you don't have a tab for it on your chat pane already, you may be able to join it by doing a right-click menu on your chat and finding it somewhere in the "join" interface.
It can be a little hectic since it has a lot of people in the channel, but the main problem with posting "help, I can't figure out how to get out of space, for the love of god someone message me" will probably be getting twenty message invites at once, and being offered too much help is honestly one of the better problems to have when you need it fast.
(On that note, whether you're going to seek random advice in in-game chat or not, you should go to your mailbox, right click inbox -> settings and set your CSPA charge to zero isk, so that people not on your friend list/corp list can message you without the random barrier. Only turn that back on if you're actually being harassed and need to make strangers cut it out.) |
