I was dead, and my spirit was in peace, but someone pulled me back through and returned me on the eve of the rising red moon! Yet I speak, I call out for voices!
There should be joyous singing and chanting, but instead there is silence!
Silence!
Midular, why do you still your voice?
Within, I hear the chorus, the three speak in unison!
"We wait for news, news that the Republic cares for it's own!"
Matari, join your voice with the three and demand a break in the silence!

Brother, we feel your pain. A recent protest in Pator was met with further deafening silence on the part of the Republic. My heart is breaking.

I do not pretend to understand how this happened, I am just thankful it has. Welcome back, Wren!

My mind is splintered, the voices are loud within it. Yet I struggle to return to my former self....

You were never separated from your former, inner, true self, brother. You only need to re-awaken. Be welcome back.

Well, well.
More and more old voices in space these days. Is it the imminent war that turns the course of fate and calls us back, or what?

I wonder if Karin Midular also welcomes me. Or am I and so many of us pilots still labeled as extreme marginalists and outcasts?

I should think in these times the government, like any sensible person, welcomes every single pod pilot who is at their heart loyal to the tribes, no matter how misguided their definition of the people or other political opinions are or have been.

Do you really care about her, Wren?

I do care, actually.
I want to love and respect the leader of my people.
She has had so many opertunities, but at every turn, she breaks my heart, and offhandedly discards my life's work.

Pffft! Folly brother... folly! You would seek to call this weak and lackluster matari a leader? She is nothing but a fool, whoms stake to power in the Republic has never been earned.
Focus your enegies to some more "worth" the cause brother... something more "worth" the cause.

Last night in a dream I saw the Ray of Matar uniting all Minmatar through inaction, perhaps this is what marks Karin Midular with greatnss. It seems that the more she remains silent, the more united we become. Look around, many voices of disbelief at her silence melds us together as a more united people.
Either free the slaves or we will come and get them.

Edited by: Elsebeth Rhiannon on 21/12/2005 16:36:28 There's wisdom in that, Sarkos, though not probably in the way you mean.
What need there has been for the Republic to provoke the Amarr? Are we children, that we'd need such holding of hands? Do we not know, every one of us, where the enemy is? Every child knows that the Rebellion has never really ended.
There's glory in battle and in direct words, for sure. But there's more honor in not looking for personal glory, but instead doing what is necessary, and taking the harsh words and ingratitude of your people that result.
It is not about uniting us behind one leader. We are not a people for one leader; we are a people of tribes. It is about giving us time to grow strong so that when the day comes, we will be ready. This breach inside our people - it is not really about the goal. It is just about the timing.
And I for one think (though I still hope otherwise) that the time is running short, despite all the best efforts of the one of the Ray of Matar.

The protest did nothing. Speeches did nothing. United we were for the moment, and then we turned and went about our own works as if nothing happened.
Each must look ahead and decide what it is they want, for themselves, their family, tribe, and republic.
Maybe when the time is right, after all the words have been said, we will have a time of actions and deeds. I hope to see that day, but only if it is my time and place to be.
Fly swift, and hunt well my brothers and sisters.
