So while the New Order takes over and not only are we paying CCP to play this game we the players are also paying other players to play this game... which those players have no entitlement to the game payment as CCP dose. Then leave. Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot. |

I'm gonna give you a bit of wisdom. Ya ready?
It's called the Procurer.
[Procurer, New Setup 1 copy 1] Damage Control II Mining Laser Upgrade II
EM Ward Field II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Experimental 10MN Afterburner I Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Modulated Strip Miner II, Veldspar Mining Crystal II
Medium Ancillary Current Router I Medium Ancillary Current Router I Medium Core Defense Field Extender I
Mining Drone II x5
See this thing? This thing is worth has over 76,000 EHP if you're paying attention, and will orbit around a rock at 290m/s. It has a yield of 74.5% of a max yield Hulk.
And the hull costs approximately 11 million. Nobody is gonna gank something with that much tank for so little cost.
Or if you want more yield, you can drop the DC for another Mining Upgrade. Then you'll get 58,000 EHP and 80% of a max yield Hulk.
Or, if bumping is the bigger issue, then get a Skiff. 110,000 EHP, 650 m/s. |

i fail to see the extortion of paying a nother player to pay for the game that i have paid for the days to play to CCP.
unless the New Order is CCP im not going to pay another player to play this game after ive paid the owners developers and copyright holders to play this game.
i see were this new person is trying to go.
you guys that dont understand fully what is happening.
but maybe its just being blown out of proportion to the point that no one is careing and that when it becomes a serious issue its to damn late. hopefully i wont be around to be effected by that. |

gonna give you a bit of common sense.
this person looks like they just started. they look like they know what is going on in Eve or have a rough idea of whats happening in Hi-sec/ this person might have 100k sp and it takes what 6months to train and orca for decent tank and maybe that long for the leadership skills?
so what months of training for that skiff? de hell is this new player that knows how to play the game knows what they want to do for that time period?
how is that new player going to ever make isk if they cant even do a basic boring task as mining? what else is there to do while waiting or months for skills to train? mine in that venture and hope no one trys to gank you for being in that venture. "oh hey can do missions and shoot rats and go pve or pvp" yeah that **** is only going to make that months to a hole year. good thinking beacuse youre so smart. "why dont you just orbit the roid u dumbass" well why dont u do that ur self and see how well orbiting works? it dosnt help the new player enough to survive a gank. and to not be bumped if they want to bump them they are gonna get bumped orbiting or not.
most of you are thinking things with the skills you have new players dont have skills. which shows youre comon sense skill. |

I'll name the ship "Bump me, please!" I think this is a brilliant plan. Anyone else want to try it out as well?
Well, plates can have rather high demands on...PG...or is CPU, but let us know how it works. Of course, with high mass, wouldn't it take you forever to stop?

Hell of a title for the thread. I figured it was another tardling 'nerf concord' stunt.
As for the issue you are talking about - if bumping is seen as breaking game-play for many (and that is a hell of a lot more than a some in one or 2 regions), CCP will "fix" it. Just like the "priva-tears" nerf to wardecs, titan nerf when those were used differently, the "adjustments" to mining ships due to the lamoids looking for ez-hulkageddon kills, etc.
When "the community" starts trashing an area too roughly, they'll adjust things so just keep this in mind and as you build momentum with your discussions (pull in the Freighter pilots too), it'll hit CCP's radar and they'll adjust it.
Have faith this game does have a lot of "actions have consequences" - even when people figure theirs shouldn't/don't - they do. |

These **** ants are in such a small amount of space it's not even worth Making a forum thread about. Fly a Skiff, Tank it and Don't go AFK.. and they leave you alone. I can sit in an Ice belt while people mine all the Time and they don't appear.. takes one Frigate... Or any ship and these people Cry away about you ruining there emergent Gameplay. They Stick to Caldari Space, I have yet to see them move elsewhere and they Rarely leave the systems They camp in. They Only Can Kill the badly taught Miner.
Don't pay them 10m. Evolve and Become a better Miner. Don't Fly un-tanked retrievers. Don't be Semi-Afk In Eve.
They Always Passive Scan or even Blatantly Scan the ships they are about to Gank to make sure if they can pull it off. It's Very easy to Get Kill Mails off them. I have Kids, I have multiple Accounts as well. These Horribly Taught Pilots have yet to Gank any of my Miners.
Blocking there form of "Emergent" ( seriously.. this has been going on since before James 315 existed...) gameplay is no Different then CCP going Ok We are going to Make buying Ore directly offered by the Game. It will be a Severely Reduced Price and to supplement your loss of mining.. we will give you X amount of SP to put elsewhere. Don't Wardec these Idiots they just right away change Corps.. None of them are Brave enough to maintain being in there Actual Corp. They keep the Gank toons in CODE and there "Preachers" in single man corps because Unlike Real Goons They are Incapable of picking Real fights. This is why they don't Fight against TEST, They fight Miners. They can't Kill Real Players, They can't Survive Missions. They can't even kill a Barge that can tank or fight Back. |

This is an amazing thread. I can't figure out whether it's a genuine grievance thread or a cunning publicity stunt by James 315 and crew.
Whilst I consider high sec miner hassling to be a bit on the lowdown side I do have to doff my cap at him if he and his really are making as much isk as he's publicising off the inability of those in high sec to think around the problem he and New Order are posing.
What they're doing is certainly not against any of the rules imposed by CCP. If people want to pay extortionists and protection racketeers that's their choice and whilst some do EVE will include those types of characters and play styles.
I was going to post a massive explanation of how to get round these kinds of things in EVE but to be honest I'm not sure it's worth it. Those that can adapt do (and have already been given plenty of pointers by other posters in this thread) and those that can't either leave or pay up. Seems like darwinism at work, to me. |

I agree with freedom is not free, but if low end minerals came only from nullsec, low end mineral prices would skyrocket. Unless industrial centers were moved to nullsec, in which case LOL GOOD LUCK because nobody in nullsec wants to make isk any way other than ratting in their carriers and skimming off moon profits.
