hey everyone, I had a few questions and am starting to go in circles with everything I'm reading.
What I already know is that I needed to reach a 8.0 standing with a corp that has a medical bay 1. NPC/player corp, does it matter? will both work?
2. what is the fastest way to do this? I've read that some corps offer a free jump clone right away, or maybe I read it wrong. 3. how would I find those corps? and if i join and make clones and then leave corp will I still have access to the clones?
4. how do I find any NPC corp at all? and how would I go about joining them? is it as simple as FW?
5. I would have to keep that standing up to keep making clones correct? People were mentioning not to join NPC corps with players in them because if you kill them later you take a standing hit. How can this be avoided?
Lastly, about implants. I understand that you want an empty jump clone to fight with and one with implants hidden away. 6. while in battle clone, are your attributes still affected by the implants your other clone has? or are you training without for the time being?
Thanks

1. player corps usually require membership to use their jump clone ability, but there are corps that provide jump clone access for free though they are skipping my mind at the moment
2. yes there are
3. there is one that is advertised around here that has been around forever but the name is skipping me at the moment
4. pick a corp that has medical stations and run a whole bunch of missions for them
5. This may have been changed as I killed people in npc corps on another character and i no longer got a standings hit, In any case just don't do missions for NPC corps that double as player corps.
6. you have to pause training before you jump, so once you jump and start training again it just trains at the rate in which you get without implants. I once podded myself by blowing a huge fart. |

Last time I used EACS it took minutes to get accepted, and the random system I was in at the time had 3 cloning stations I could use. The next system had more too. Took me only minutes to make all the jumpclones I needed. |

hey everyone, I had a few questions and am starting to go in circles with everything I'm reading.
What I already know is that I needed to reach a 8.0 standing with a corp that has a medical bay 1. NPC/player corp, does it matter? will both work? For jump clones: highest of the following is used: * Your standing to the NPC corp. * Your standing to the NPC corp's faction. * Your corp's standing to the NPC corp.
2. what is the fastest way to do this? I've read that some corps offer a free jump clone right away, or maybe I read it wrong. EACS
3. how would I find those corps? and if i join and make clones and then leave corp will I still have access to the clones? EACS. You only need standing to create the jump clones, not to use them. You only remain in the corp minutes while you make your jump clones.
4. how do I find any NPC corp at all? and how would I go about joining them? is it as simple as FW? You do missions for any NPC corp you want to gain standing.
To join EACS, see their posting for details. Same as for joining any player corp: find their info in-game in People & Places, and click on the APPLY button.
5. I would have to keep that standing up to keep making clones correct? People were mentioning not to join NPC corps with players in them because if you kill them later you take a standing hit. How can this be avoided? Join a player corp that has standing and you never have to worry about it.
Example, EVE University has standing with Wyrkomi Peace Corps. They require all members to either have >=8 standing with them, or none at all. Anyone in EVE University can always get a jump clone made.
Lastly, about implants. I understand that you want an empty jump clone to fight with and one with implants hidden away. 6. while in battle clone, are your attributes still affected by the implants your other clone has? or are you training without for the time being? Only the implants in your current clone's head count. You leave your other implants behind when you clone jump, and they have no affect on you anymore.
Keep in mind, all pod pilots are already dead, and exist only as clones. You move your mind between bodies. When you die, an emergency medical clone is activated (and you get a free new 900k skill point capacity clone); this makes pod pilots immortal.
