So ive been trying out the ammo that is available atm. And im not impressed, take the Gleam L for example. I load this into my apoc with 8 tachyons, the result: Total shield HP of 500 tracking penalty and a sig radius penalty which brings it up to almost 600m. Whats the point, triple penalty for a 25% damage increase which in fact might not even be 25% since the tracking is reduced. Is it intended to completely remove the shield when u use this type of ammo?
And when i look at for example high precision cruise missiles they only have to penalty of -20% velocity, and this on ships that doesnt even care about velocity, i wouldnt on my apoc either.
I dont know but i hope T2 ammo came on TQ in a prenerfed state, cuz i cant imagine why anyone would wanna use this ammo. And same goes for alot of other ammo too not just Crystals.

AFAIK, the new uber damage tech II ammo is made for anti-structure / capital ship.

Well in all fairness then T2 missiles should remove the armor on ravens? And btw not much space for tank if u goin with tachs.

... So, the penalties from tech.2 ammo do indeed stack and are per-turret/launcher?
Holy sh.t
3 rocket launchers crippling cap recharge to ~25% of original value, or cutting speed of your ship down to less than half.

The damage ones will evidently give the raven a month long cap recharge time.
I was under the impression that T2 ammo only had its penalties applied once per ship. hopefully the per gun thing is a bug.

How ironic that the stacking penalties don't apply PER LOADED WEAPON with T2 ammo.........
......yet the stacking penalties do apply to Dampeners and Tracking Disruptors??
And yes. Penalties that stack per T2 ammo loaded weapon makes them even more worthless than the super-harsh penalties did in the first place. Come on, cap use AND tracking? And they stack? Throw us a bone here Tux.
