Good.
Now when I mine some ice for my carrier in null it's worth of my time spent watching local, spamming DS, back station grab the combat ship to kill groups of BS rats, back to belt etc to spend an hour or two and just get enough isotopes for 5/6 jumps.
CCP buff null sec high level ice types, c'mon 350 isotopes per block when refining in null no matter how strong refining skills you have wastage is far to big. It's still more profitable to do it in high sec by a long shot, interdiction or not. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

I cannot wait to see the look on all the currently smug traders/miners that sell will their stockpiles over the next month, only to find out that the interdiction is permanent and Nitrogen Isotopes are on their way to becoming the new technetium.
I would love to know if that 80% number thrown around was for total consumption or balanced for each race's consumption. Cause the number of belts did not change (other than amarr) to reflect each race's respective consumption amounts pre-expansion.
Reduce the number of times a belt is flipped in a day for long enough and effectively the supply can be controlled from the mining done in low and null.

Oi, Goons. Interdict Amarr ice.
No one uses caldari towers/caps. Drive prices up for something people use.
Love and kisses, Hiyora Akachi. why drive prices up for other people when they are sitting on the biggest source of caldari ice in the game? Seriously? When they have the biggest pile of it and drive up the price, they do it for themselves too, making their stockpile more worth and thus can make huge profits by selling it again at inflated prices, which means they crash the market and everybody else has to suffer a loss. Understood? Edit:please note that i was just responding to your specific question. Edit2: Actually sometimes i'm confused about all the things they could do to highsec, but don't. I knew i would, if i could.
i think you misread it sol... they live in caldari space (so, caldari ice) not amarr (as far as i'm aware). |

i just said it'd make more sense for them to increase the price of ice they have an ample supply of, rather than ice they don't have an ample supply of.
why am i meant to be thinking hard about that? |

The 80% figure assumed 1)all being mined, and 2) consumption levels staying the same.
1) is definitely not happening, 2) maybe, maybe not. The war may have caused an increase in null consumption.
Either way, null has plenty of ice to supply both its, and highsec needs.

Thin margin moon reactants have already moved nicely It will be interesting to see how the T2 market moves over the next few months.
Will higher T2 ship prices compared to a deflating mineral market keep the large fleet meta in T1 hulls, even after the rebalance changes? Will reaction farms switch to another race of tower and remain competitive (or am I flat wrong in thinking caldari is the way to go with reaction towers)? Will a rise in Caldari Ice price "raise all boats" in a sense making all ice forms more expensive due to more risk adversion? However much of this speculation event is just ice changing hangers and just being stored away?

I don't care either way, but this is indeed a silly assertion.
The maximum attention span for things like this is 90 days max.
Besides, they will be so bored waiting out the 4 hour gap in Ice spawns which will be timed differently in every single system involved, I'm almost willing to bet some ISK this lasts only a few days. |

It would be foolish for any organization in EVE that has the ability to cartel any item in the game to not do it. |
