Assuming one is in 0.7 sec or below, can a player anchor a POS to a moon that has a non-player Station Hub ? |

I am not sure what a non player station hub is.
If you are in 0.7 and lower and your NON-NPC corp has raw faction standings is > what is required and you have roles and skills, you can anchor a POS to any moon that currently doesn't have a POS on it

I think the OP is referring to an NPC station. Some NPC stations are located at moons, others at planets. AN NPC station does not prevent a corp from launching a POS at the same moon. Some moons even have multiple NPC stations, Jita 4-4 for instance. However, there IS a limit of one POS tower per moon, even if the current tower is offline, so long as it is anchored. |

When anchoring, you must be on a different grid than that of the station. The tower will snap to its correct position when anchored, which is usually within about 100 km of the moon warp-in. |

Quote:A grid is the space surrounding any object in space. This is typically a sphere approximately 250 km in each direction starting from the object the grid is surrounding. In other words if your ship is alone deep in space with nothing surrounding your ship, there will be an invisible sphere surrounding your ship, 250 km in every direction. Anything within this sphere will be visible in your overview. An object located just outside of your grid will not be visible in your overview.
With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Everything in space you can interact with is "on grid".
Though space is three dimensional, players often refer to it as a two dimensional grid. CCP developers think in terms of spheres: every object in space is represented by a "ball" and balls can only interact when in the same "bubble" (on the same grid).
1. Have a friend warp to the moon, or create a jetcan at the moon warp-in. 2. Keep moving until your friend or the jetcan no longer appear on your overview. 3. Anchor tower.
It is best to use a friend, to avoid blocking the tower. |
