Currently at a crossroads and just looking for good advice....
Just like any new player... I wanted to get into the PVP side too early and I have the majority of my core skills electronics/engineering/mechanics/drones to IV and I jumped into the Per/Will map a little bit early. 12 months later Im at the point where I have all my gunnery support skills to 5 and only trained all medium turret specs to 4 and currently training the recons/inty/ ships to V.
So... my question is: Should I just suck it up and finish up my core skills now or keep on with the Per/Will map?
I just recently bought my first blingy proteus but all my armor comps are NOT to 5 and Im debating on the change to the core/drones skill plan and just try out Gallente for a year.
(Note: This is my last neural remap so I will wait a year after this one.)
Thx in advance. |

If you're happy with the spread of ships you can currently fly -- and you have enough variety that you likely are -- I'd probably go ahead and go Int/Mem for a year. There are an awful lot of supports on there that need some love. As do your drone skills, which as I recall are slightly better off on Int/Mem than Per/Will.
You could always opt for a more balanced remap, but they tend not to be great for T2 ships and it looks like you're at a point where that would take quite a bit of your Per/Will training so it might not be the best option for you at this juncture. |

Kind of a nice skilled pilot there. Over half your SP is in ships n guns.
IMO: It is time to do a hardline remap. Drones and Gallente go hand in hand, you need about 4 million SP there. (I'm not sure weather they train better with per/will, or intel/mem) but the difference is minimal imo.
I did an intel/memory map on another toon, at about this same crossroad. Tbh, I learned to like it, and 400 days later I'm still on it. Great Electronics skills, Mechanics stuff, riggings at IV, Probe related skills, etc, etc. I consider that guy to be my best character, even though he is a year younger.
And don't forget, you can train a ship or gun skill when you want, it just wont be optimal. |

You don't need to be at 5 for everything to fly pvp. If you only training skills you can min max then youll get bored waiting just so you can play. Just train what you want to train and don't worry about it if it takes you a few hours longer to train something. |

You didn't click through the eveboard link, did you?
Congrats on the remap. You'll be happy with it, I'm sure. |

Cores should be 5's....... assuming you're refering to fittings, cap, mechanics and engineering.
