I am wondered about why CCP dont remove the posses that havent been onlined or the corp is closed for like 6 month? When they do it to the unused cans why not posses? I found several or actually ALOT of posses in hs that has one owner and hasent been onlined just sitting at a moon an oqpie it? Why? |

Had you used Google you would have seen evidence of about 8 years of Threadnaughts of this very question. Sorry.
War Dec the owners and blow up the dead POSes. Simple as that. |

Apparently because the game code that supports POSes is a nightmare of old obsolete poorly structured code that builds upon other old code such as rat behavior AI ( apparently used to run defense guns). CCP programmers look at the mess in horror and are very reluctant to add to it. CCP seems to have a long range plan to eventually do away with the current POS system and replace it with a completely new form of player owned space stations. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing when this will happen. |

If CPP removes old POS then RVB couldn't run a protection racket, err.... I mean a POS Removal Service

Some friends took down an offline medium using one Dominix (sentry drones) and 3 faction-fit Coercers (pulse lasers).
It doesn't take much. |

........and then decide to divert time instead to developing and working on other totally non EVE related things like EVE:Valkyrie.

If I had a choice between going through old incomprehensible code and playing with an Oculus Rift in my spare time, I'd choose the second option too. |

There are only so many people you can throw at a software project without diminishing returns in terms of end product. Usually you'll have one lead on a feature and perhaps one or two developers working with him. |

But is that a good business decision ? |

This. Doubling the developers on a feature does not necessarily mean it'll get done faster. Definitely won't get done in half the time. Might be a bit faster, might be the same, might be slower.
Sooo many managers I've had the 'pleasure' of working with that didn't understand this.

Unfortunately many managers think that if they hire 9 women, they will give birth to a baby in 1 month. |

Tell me about it.
I had one manager, when given a time estimate of 10 days, for a dev that worked 3 days a week and was going on leave the following week, set the deadline at 10 calendar days time....
He could not understand why the developer was pissed off by that. |

Sooo many managers I've had the 'pleasure' of working with that didn't understand this. It is called Brook's Law: "adding manpower to a late software project makes it later" and was written about in his book The Mythical Man-Month in 1975. Every project mismanager since then has always claimed "this time it is different". |

Those you can file a petition to have a GM remove them, since there's nobody to wardec, and no way for them to recover the POS anyway. This is EVE - Everybody Versus Everybody.
